We cannot fault the service provided, everything was handled really well and our project manager dealt with all the parties involved including British Gas. She was always available to answer questions, when she was on holiday someone else was available and knew all about the project - more than worth the money we paid.

We booked and paid Utility Smart to install our gas supply and meter. Now won't supply meter and will be left without heating while we try and arrange for another company to do this. We called several times to clarify the situation with the meter and until the last minute where not told that they would not supply. Just make excuses (amend: maybe excuses is the wrong word but they will not acknowledge that there quotes and website, states that they will supply and fit the meter) and do not try and help. Had we known that they would not supply and install the meter we would have used another company. An appalling experience. I have now had the displeasure of speaking with Chris, one of the company directors. I mistakenly thought that he may wish to offer some understanding of our situation and potentially some help or advice but that wasn't to be the case. I'm sure the company response will squarely put the blame on us and will no doubt say that I hung up on Chris, which is true, but I don't have the time in my working day to be lectured about how I'm wrong and they are right and the state of the power industry. The phone call was to ensure my connection went ahead as planned the following day after a threat that they would cancel the installation because I was unhappy. Suffice it to say that I will not be recommending this company. Whilst I accept that there are far more good reviews than bad, their complaints management style is unique at best.

Really prompt and friendly correspondence from the office. The most competitive price - great value. Works to connect the gas supply were done efficiently, the guys were great and friendly too. To my surprise every thing came together perfectly, no sooner had the holes been dug and the mole sent through the pipe was laid. The asphalters were there to finish the job all in one day. Well done!!

Happy with the service, good level of communication and great to have 1 person to talk with. Unfortunately the gas team didn’t have preferred meter box with them (Uni box) so alternative was provided (wall mounted box). But apart from that very happy with service.
