I have used for a year now. I have found that exciteosa has helped with my mild sleep apnea and I don't have to wear medical equipment while sleeping anymore. Customer service/support is very responsive, either thru chat on the app or by email.

Edit: I completed the initial phase of treatment end entered maintenance mode (2 treatments per week). Note that the ExciteOSA system has now changed so that each mouth piece can only be used for 3 months. A replacement costs $150 which equates to $6 per treatment. There is no longer an option to continue to use an old mouthpiece if you choose to do so, which there was when I started using the device. To be fair to the company, this may be FDA enforced given the design of their clinical trial. However, as the costs are not covered by insurance, I will not continue to use the device, which is a pity as I found it useful (see review below). Just be aware that there are significant continuing costs associated with using the device in addition to initial purchase price. Initial review: On the recommendation of my pulmonologist, I starting using the eXciteOSA in October 2021 for sporadic mild sleep apnea and snoring, both of which were confirmed by a sleep study. I have used the device consistently and have been pleased with the results. My wife tells me that snoring has disappeared and a follow up sleep study has confirmed improvements in sleep. The app was a little glitchy and it forced me to restart the daily program after I had already completed 20 sessions or so but things seem to have improved on that front. Overall, pleasantly surprised at how well it worked.

I have a mild case of apnea and have found this device to be very easy to use and effective. Device setup and the app are great and easy, and once you get into the maintenance phase, it becomes easy to maintain sessions. I like the simplicity of the design and ease of use, and have also had very quick and helpful replies in the case when I needed some customer support.

This device is amazing. I have noticed that I have been sleeping better and know that I only need to do therapy for 20 minutes a day is a relief.

I found out that I had severe sleep apnea in 2022 but there were no CPAP machines available. So I looked for alternatives and found Excite OSA! I used it every day for 20 minutes for 42 days. I have been an Oral appliance user for 20 years, very successful. Recently I had more snoring even with appliance. I tried the excite OSA device to improve the effectiveness of the Oral appliance. After the first 6 weeks, great results, no snoring, adjusted appliance back to make it more comfortable. Then it was on to maintenance, I didn't fully comply and follow through with the maintenance, stopped it altogehter, there was a relapse. We must follow intstructions to ensure success. Back on track now, great adjunct to overall treatment of OSA

I started using eXciteOSA six weeks ago, and is starting to see some improvement on my sleep. The support from Signifier has been great.

I have been using the eXciteOSA device since January 2022 and I have obtained great results. My spouse reports that my snoring has gotten better: I snore for shorter periods and less significantly loudly than before. I find the device really easy to use. It took me about a week to get used to the sensation and to get to the desired level of power. Using it is comfortable and has now become part of my bedtime routine. I’m very happy to use this device.

I've been using the ExciteOsa device since February and my partner has not noticed any significant improvement. Additionally, this week, the app has now said that the mouthpiece has expired and locked me out of the app. In order to get a new mouthpiece it is asking me for £18.99 per month as an add on subscription and this is not what I signed up for. Very disappointed. Update: 6/6/22 Signifier medical have now come back to me and provided the ability to buy a one off mouth piece. Currently weighing up the pros and cons as not sure how much improvement I have made over the 60 odd sessions.

I have been so pleasantly surprised that this product worked. I’ve gone through so much with my overall health and wasn’t sure if this would help me. IT DID! I just did the recommended therapy sessions and my doctor reported that my oxygen levels are now normal. I don’t wake up feeling groggy or depleted. I had what was considered mild-sleep apnea and had to sleep in a chilled room in order to not be completely uncomfortable breathing. I feel like my weight loss regimen is working now since I’m getting recuperative sleep. I recommend continuing the therapy even after the initial days are complete in order to keep your results. I’m just a little mad at myself for not requesting the replacement device sooner. I’m very pleased I get normal rest again.

Definitely works. First 6 weeks completed and my partner hasn’t had to nudge me for at least 3-4 weeks. Feels like I am fixing the underlying problem rather than fixing symptoms (eg. Mouth guard, chin strap, throat spray). The app is brilliant. The customer care is second to none. I would recommend this device to anyone who said snoring was affecting their partner’s sleep.

All I can say is it works. After about two weeks of treatments I was sleeping better than I had for a year.

I started my journey with eXciteOSA after being diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea. On many night and sometimes multiple times a night I would wake up from not being able to breath while sleeping. Since I've started using eXciteOSA everyday, I've only woken up once from not breathing. The device does take a little getting used to at first, you eventually get used to it and the results come from using it consistently.

I've had a really positive experience with both the unit and the customer service. Firstly, the company and its reps: they are responsive, they write very clearly and they don't "sell". And the product itself: I came to buy it after my friend and I were sending each other "hilarious" DM's and photos of (mostly) men with the unit in their mouths. We assumed, as many do it seems, that you were expected to sleep with it in your mouth. But (and weirdly, perhaps) because it was so expensive AND my wife was seriously considering a separate bedroom for me, I looked behind the ads and into the small but sensible independent research available online. And I spent the money. Reader, it works for me. The experience of using the unit is odd and - as you increase the strength of the current - a little uncomfortable. But it's not painful. And it's over quickly. In short, if you have an intractable snoring issue - and you can afford it - try this.

The Excite OSA is great. Was using a sleep apnea machine breathing every night & was looking for something different for my mild sleep apnea. Just finished session 77. The first ~40 did not get me quite the results I was hopping for. Also had a number of technical issues. However customer service (Jennifer) was very supportive. That is why I rate my overall experience with 5*. I continue with 4 - 5 sessions weekly and see improvements. I have been told by my doctor that Sleep Apnea will never go away, but treatments can minimize the impact. That is the case for me. It also makes traveling easier. Instead of carrying a still bulky machine, I just have to carry the mouth piece and controller. How easy is that. Overall I recommend the device to people with mild sleep apnea. You can’t lose trying, with the money back guarantee which convinced me.

Despite the process not being quite a success for me, I cannot fault the service of this company along with the product itself. The team are very friendly and efficient with how they go about their business. Although the treatment did not quite resolve my snorng issues, it did help, but not quite enough to warrant continuing. On the back of this, they followed through with the refund as promised. In turn, I have recommended this company on to others who find themselves in the same pickle of a night time as myself! The mouthpiece has worked wonders for me. My wife has been able to sleep alot better also with me not bothering her at night with my heavy breathing.
