I hardly snore at all anymore. I can sleep on my back without worrying about my tongue collapsing and causing me to snore. My quality of sleep has improved. My Oura ring scores are at mid 80s now up from low 70s. The customer service is great as well. They response very quickly on the app’s chat.

This thing is a godsend - I'm "CPAP resistant" and had been using Provent, which went off the market. I have been using exciteOSA religiously and a) tested as "No Significant Obstructive Sleep Apnea(OSA)" with an at home WatchPat test AND my partner is much, much happier. Now, I do still have *some* audible snoring, and get a nudge (esp to flip from my back) so people need to have realistic expectations, BUT vs. having CPAP that was completely unbearable to me, sleeping in separate beds, and/or having a long term chronic health condition, ExciteOSA has been the answer to my prayers and made a huge improvement in my life.

This devise has worked very well for me and I would strongly recommend it for anyone suffering from OSA. I initially bought the device to address occasional breathing stoppage during sleep. What I did not fully appreciate at the time were the adverse effects of OSA on my sleep and general health. After only a few months of use I’ve had no difficulties with breathing at night and, importantly, I sleep more soundly and the quality of my sleep is much improved. This is really a game changer. I initially gave the device a 4 star rating, only because of difficulties I had using the app. It appears that those issues have been resolved and the customer support has remained top notch. I’m pleased to be able to upgrade the rating to 5 stars.

I was diagnosed with mild OSA in December 2020. The polysomnography report from the sleep study identified an AHI of 11.7. In May 2021, I purchased the CPAP device however, I could not tolerate the mask so the CPAP device was returned. It was impossible in my case to sleep with CPAP mask. I also had concerns regarding possible contamination and or infection of my air way and lungs that could results from using the CPAP device. I next pursued purchasing a mouth piece type of oral device. I was informed by the dentist that it would cost about $3400.00 and Medicare would only cover about $900.00 so my out of pocket expense would be $2500.00. I also learned from the dentist that there was no guarantee or return policy if the mouth piece did not work. I considered this a high risk and bad investment. In August 2021, I purchased the eXciteOSA device and after the six weeks of using the device each day for the recommended 20 minutes, I had excellent results. Two of the symptoms of OSA were gone. I no longer got tired in the afternoon and no more mild headaches when I woke up in the morning. I continued to use the eXciteOSA 3 or 4 times a week with the positive results as noted. My mild OSA is finally under control. I also realized another benefit that I attribute to the use of the eXciteOSA. I take one multiple vitamin and three joint supplements each day. These pills are rather large and in the past I had difficulty get the pills down my throat. Since I have been using the eXciteOSA these pills go down very easily. I attribute this to the muscle strengthening resulting from the use of the eXiteOSA.

The device seems to work well and further to this the app / support people are super efficient and helpful, particularly Tony from the support team who is a pleasure to deal with.

I have used the eXciteOSA device for about 6 months. My Dr offered it or a CPAP machine following a sleep test that revealed mild sleep apnea. It was described as recently FDA approved and capable of helping my situation with only 30minute session versus all night therapy. I find the device easy to use and effective in my situation - not sure how it would work if serious issues. Unfortunately, my Dr passed away unexpectedly and was obviously unable to answer inquiries about the device. When initially onboarding with the device I had been contacted by Jennifer at Signifier Medical offering help and/or suggestions. I reached out to her several months after that initial email and was able to get my follow-up questions answered and am happily using the device again. I would recommend this device since it seems to work, and the company has made customer service a priority.

My wife told me that I snore and stop breathing at night. This woke me up to get help. My doctor requested I get a sleep test. My results informed them that I have moderate sleep apnea. They gave me three options, surgery, CPAP, or eXciteOSA. I was there first patient they recommend to try this medical device. They were hoping that this product would not only treat sleep apnea, but re-train my airway to prevent sleep apnea. Little by little my airway health improved. By six weeks of treatment I was able to sleep with no snoring or apnea. It worked for me, take the test and see if they doctor recommends it for you. Freedom is in your future.

My eXciteOSA device is nothing short of miraculous. Doctors in the UK suggest CPAP therapy as the gold standard, and, because my sleep apnea/upper airways resistance syndrome diagnosis arrived shortly before the pandemic started, I have been unable to explore hypoglossal nerve stimulation alternatives abroad so far. In the interim, I discovered the device through my consultant dental surgeon. It alleviates many of the issues with which I suffer and is easy to use, uninvasive, practical, easy to transport and really gives back a feeling of autonomy and command over one's sleep issues. In short, it means that together with a mandibular advancement device and a nose spray I can enjoy a substantially more restful night's sleep than ever before. Signifier Medical are also a very helpful and considerate company. They are responsive if you have need of replacement parts for the device and keep in touch with users. A very positive backdrop to a fine piece of kit.

After 15 years of loyalty to my CPAP, I am now going without all that fuss and gear. The ExciteOSA device is a godsend. It started working after about 3 weeks of therapy. Easy to use too. Highly recommend giving it a try. My Dr. at Mayo Clinic recommended it, even though my CPAP was doing the job. I'm a very happy camper!

Excellent service. I have been speaking to Tony who I found very helpful and informative. Initially, I had reservations whether it would achieve what I wanted, but with the money back offer, I had very little to lose except the cost of the mouth piece. I have found that the eXciteOSA is achieving all that I had hoped for.

I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea in 2011. I probably had it a lot longer since friends a ex partners had told me about not breathing in my sleep. For several years I used a CPAP which I hated and still do. Finally in 2019 I got serious about exercise and started to lose weight. I went down 50lbs by 2021. The other thing that happened was that my CPAP had a recall and I asked my sleep doctor what I should do. He gave me the option of getting a dental device from my dentist or getting the exciteOSA. I checked with my dentist first and the special mouth guard was the same cost as the exciteOSA. I figured if this was going to fix the problem and the dental device would just mask the issue I should just pay for it. I did and it worked! After losing weight I went from severe to mild sleep apnea. And currently my wife says I don't snore at all. I went and did a sleep study post exciteOSA treatment and I didn't have episodes of obstruction the whole night. I continue to use it every other day. Cons- you have to be consistent, you'll drool a lot in the beginning, cost Pros- works on the actual issue, don't have to wear it in your sleep, easy to use, easy to clean

I was exasperated when my sleep Doctor told me I had 27 Apneas from my sleep test! He recommended the CPAP which I tried for two weeks. I hated that and just couldn’t sleep with it. He then recommended this new Device eXciteOSA. I used it for about two months and took another sleep test The new number was 5 Apneas! I couldn’t believe it! I am now a true believer in eXcite OSA and highly recommend it!

I’m a huge fan of this product! In combination with an IOS app that I use on my phone called SnoreLab, I can empirically say that my snoring severity has decreased as I’ve done Excite OSA sessions with the unit. I’m through the initial period and into the maintenance period and am on my 3rd mouthpiece and still seeing great results. It affords you freedoms that a CPAP never can/will and gives you a lot of mobility and ease in treating sleep apnea. A huge fan here!

90% Improvement! I just finished the main series of sessions. My wife says that my snoring has improved by 90%. Additionally, I had some challenges with getting the device delivered to me here in Spain (I had gotten the prescription from a doctor in the US prior). But, the wonderful patient advocate, Jennifer, persisted and persisted. I cannot adequately express how grateful I am. Now, I can move back into the master bedroom.

I have mild sleep apnea and was told I need to address it. I tried a mandible adjustment device first, but that impacted my ability to sleep through the night. Luckily, ExciteOSA had recently received FDA approval, and my medical provider was able to prescribe it for me. My wife can't recommend this enough. My snoring is basically gone. I also enthusiastically recommend it, as I don't have to wear something while I sleep. In addition to the positive results, my interactions with Signifier have been incredibly positive. I had some issues with my unit, and they prioritized fixing my issues. They were incredibly pleasant while doing so too (shout out to Joel and the after hours chat service). Long story short, if your doctor thinks this device will work for you, please consider trying it. It is so easy to do, and the results speak for themselves.

I used the eXciteOSA device for 6 weeks but was not sure if the device was helping or not. I reached out to Joel Hanlon who was very responsive to my emails and offered outstanding customer service. There was an initial problem after the first week where the device did not work so Joel sent me a new one by overnight courier. The 6 weeks goes quick and since I was not certain at that point if the device was helping Joel allowed me to continue using the device for another 6 weeks stating that after that point I could still receive a full refund if I was not satisfied that the device was working. He also gave me some advice that the results are best if you use level 12 or higher. This is not clear in the instructions as the instructions tell you to use a level that is comfortable for you so intially I was using level 6 to 8. I had my doctor run a sleep test after using the device for 7 weeks and according to the test the device was definitely helping my sleep apnea. I would definitely have your doctor run the sleep test before you start and after using the device to compare results. You have nothing to lose by giving the eXciteOSA device a try since they have excellent customer service and will refund you if you feel the device did not work for you.

I bought an ExciteOSA 26/9/21 and used it every day for more than a month. I monitor my sleep/snoring with SnoreLab app and after nearly 5 weeks of daily use (I admit NOT the 6 weeks recommended) there was absolutely no effect at all on reducing snoring. In the mean-time a long awaited and much delayed (because of Covid) consultation with the NHS sleep clinic came through and they supplied a CPAP machine, which instantly stopped all snoring and reduced my moderate apnea (16 per hour were recorded by my NHS sleep study) to almost zero. Result of using CPAP leaves me feeling much, much better during the day. Regretfully, in my case ExciteOSA was not for me. I am pleased, and a little bit surprised to say that after discussing the lack of effectiveness of ExciteOSA in my case with Mr Tony Jupp in ExciteOSA in London, the company has agreed to offer me a full refund (less cost of the mouthpiece). They are organising for a courier to collect the unit and have confirmed to me that they will provide credit for the parts which I will be returning to them. Update 7 Dec 21. Received full refund from ExciteOSA

I'll admit; I was skeptical. That being said, I also was highly motivated to find a solution better than the traditional CPAP or BiPAP machines, because those are obnoxious, obtrusive, and...just NO. I have to say, I’m really hopeful about the ExciteOSA device and the long-term difference I’m eager to have it make. After my initial trial period, I can definitely say that I'm already sleeping better. Plus, their customer service is super helpful. All in all, I'm pleased so far!
