Couldn’t recommend The Midland Eye enough, their level of care was outstanding and my procedure went better than I could ever have imagined.

I opted for clear lens replacement surgery as I was extremely myopic and had also become near-sighted as well. I do a lot of onscreen reading for my job and felt my eyesight was deteriorating. After a comprehensive consultation with Prof Shah and excellent follow-up with Jen, I took the professor's advice and booked to have both my eyes operated on the same day. I was nervous about this and most people I spoke to or read about, had an interval between doing each eye. However, I trusted Prof Shah's experience and that everything would be done to prevent infection and went ahead. I am so pleased that I did both my eyes in the same session as the recovery period has been much smoother as a result because I am not having to do that twice and my vision was excellent within a few days of the surgery. My eyesight is amazing now and I am able to do a wide range of activities and see better than I did previously, even with properly prescribed contact lenses and varifocal glasses. I highly recommend Midland Eye for their professionalism and high standard of care.

Was referred by my optician as he was concerned about my macular after having an OTC . The appointment letter arrived a day later. The consultant diagnosed the problem and offered treatment after answering all my questions, I accepted and treatment started immediately. All the staff instilled confidence in me and I felt I was in good professional hands.

I was very impressed with the midland staff and the consultant surgeon who did my eye operation. I felt nervous prior ear to my surgery but was put at ease before and during it. So would highly recommend them to anyone in the future.

The staff at midland eye were fantastic at alleviating my concerns and fears of receiving LASEK, particularly on the day of the surgery. One staff member in particular Rosemary should be highly commended as she went above and beyond to ensure I was relaxed and that I knew what to expect; she is a credit to the clinic.
