I placed my order for a pair of gates, posts and fitting kits, the order arrived around 4 weeks later as advised. Communication throughout was good, especially the transport guys. On arrival I was blown away by the quality of the gates, they looked like pieces of furniture, superbly made and very sturdy. I would suggest that if you use the fitting kits that you also order the posts as the hinges are wider than what is usually available from say Wickes etc. Overall, highly recommended.

The ordering process was straightforward with help available if required. The quality of the gates delivered was excellent, as was the delivery process when notified. The only disappointment was the time required to manufacture & deliver, which was way beyond the time quoted on the website.

Beautiful gates and delivered ahead of schedule!

I had been recommended to use Wortley Bros wooden gates by my landscaping contractor and the gates are of the excellent quality he promised they would be. In addition Kenny was very helpful when we were placing the order to ensure my specific requirements were met. I have since recommended Wortley to a friend who is about to buy gates too

The gate was ordered on 8/8 and delivered on 6/9. I was kept informed re. delivery date and times and it arrived at the time promised. The gate is exactly as illustrated and is extremely robust. I am more than satisfied with the product and with the customer service.

Great build quality and excellent service

Fantastic Product, the gates exceeded expectations, heavy sturdy and quality workmanship, would highly recommend this company.

I cannot recommend this company. I had ordered four posts plus two sets of gates at a considerable cost. Posts arrived with splits in them and now after only two months in position there is 3inch deep crack/split on one of the posts right down the length of the post. This means that’s the post will not support the weight of the gate, I cannot open or close this set of gates. I contacted the company showing them photographs of how bad the cracking/split was, explaining the further costs that I am now going to incur just so I can use the gates (after consultation with my joiner) The particular post is of extremely poor quality and all I got in response (after chasing Wortley Brothers for a response) I was to be referred to the companies terms and conditions saying that the timber can split, shrink bow and twist! The product is not fit for purpose don’t waste your money like I have!!!

We had our 12 ft gates fitted yesterday . They look AMAZING!!!! The craftsmanship is 100% . They are the Best quality gates we’ve seen! The hinges /locks are excellent quality . The whole experience from start to delivery was so good ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Thank you .
