We are very happy with our visit in Crete, and the professional service of Chania rentals. Mouri Villa was beyond our expectations. The children loved the swimming pool, and we loved the atmosphere of the house and the countryside location. The pictures on the website didn't show how beautiful the surroundings were, and we were very pleased to be surrounded by olive trees and mountains, outside of the village, away from road and cars. The only drawback was the early wakeup of the neighbours' roosters and the nightly barking of the village dogs, but all in all, we were so happy to be in the countryside, away from the sound of cars and people, that it didn't matter much. We really appreciated the generosity of our host and his neighbours who came to us with fresh apricots from their trees. The gift of being able to pick fresh organic vegetables like lettuce, green peppers, tomatoes, aubergine and zucchini, as well as the best nectarines we have ever tasted, ripe on the tree, it was a realy treat. We had our best family vacation ever, and would love to come back.

We tried booking a villa which was already booked for the week we wanted, but the team were quick to find us another property instead. The booking process was simple, allowing part payment up front using Visa cards and the balance payable by a welcome variety of options. The team were quick to respond to questions we had during our stay. I would recommend the company to help find your ideal villa.

We (a family of 10 adults and 2 children) rented Villa Elbexx for a week in June 2015. The company were thorough, easy to contact and ran everything smoothly via their website. We hired our cars through them too (15% discount), and were met at the airport without problem. They provided reliable child seats free of charge, too. The Villa was an exceptionally high standard, spotlessly clean, and the owners friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic - accessible, near amenities but isolated in it's setting. Overall, a perfect holiday. Thank you very much.

We loved our experience in this Villa, everything was perfect. Stella was there to greet us with homemade apple tarts and a fridge full of food. The place could not have been more perfect. Thank you for making our time in Crete so perfect.

Our villa for 8 in maleme was a great family holiday for 3 generations. Grannie treated sons and their family. The area was ideal - all truthfully quoted as no need for a car / beach 5 mins / shops close by. All things that could be exaggerated but we're not. The accommodation was first rate and very high standard. Plenty of space, the right number of bathrooms, lovely pool and sufficiently kitted out. Any downside ?- truthfully the beds were hard but that is personal, and the Wi-Fi unreliable which annoyed the teenagers. Sophia came twice a week to clean thoroughly, and the Gardner was good for local advice. Would recommend highly

After finding out our original choice was fully booked, we were offered a number of other similar villas to choose from and was always offered help in finding the appropriate villa for us. Any questions were always answered fully and swiftly. Would definately recommend!

The place on Creete we stayed for one week, was extremely big. Nice living room, great kitchen and excellent bed- and bathrooms. Only the furniture was a little old-fashioned. The garden with swimmingpool was awsome. The house and swimmingpool was totally cleaned on monday en thursday. We will recommand the house, because you get really value for money.

Chania Rentals is a first class company and is highly recommended. Good communications, excellent service and great value. Marina villa is a beautiful villa set on the outskirts of Galatas, a short walk/drive to the beach and within easy driving distance of the beautiful city of Chania. The hosts could not be more welcoming, providing a welcome basket of essentials on arrival, a chocolate cake and a full tour of the villas facilities. If you are looking for a 5* villa within easy travelling distance of Chania and the local beaches, then I could not recommend the Villa Marina high enough. It is highly recommended and I will definitely be returning in the future.

They are efficient, incredibly helpful and they answered all queries very quickly and fully. We will be returning to Crete next year and will undoubtedly book our villa through Chania Rentals.

After reading the reviews and making our booking nearly a year ago, we are positively looking forward to our stay in Villa del Mare, near Chania, having stayed close by in Stavros before. We certainly were NOT disappointed, and had a great stay, loving the facilities, and views including the infinity pool (even if a little fresh). Villa was spotlessly clean, and whilst sheets and towels were changed mid week and villa cleaned, you could wash and dry any clothes as there was a laundry room provided, so you only had to take half your clothes if you wanted ! We regularly hire large villas around Southern Europe and would strongly recommend this to you all. We mailed in advance and the owner Costa kindly organised our first shop, and put the Mythos (beer) in the fridge to chill for us on arrival ! Only a couple of small points to note, watch out for the low flying extractor fan over the kitchen island, and sad the store cupboards were stripped of even salt and pepper, but kitchen is fully equipped and wants for nothing else. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for 10 days, and hope you do to.

We stayed for 6 nights at the villa and had a fantastic time. We were warmly welcomed and the villa was great. All the fittings are modern and apart from a problem with the WiFi (they provided access to the neighbours WiFi to help with this) our stay was faultless. There were 4 of us and there would have been ample room for another 2 people. There are 3 separate bedrooms which was great as many places advertise as sleeping 6 but cram multiple beds in to a room. All facilities and equipment, from the pool table to TV and plumbing all worked perfectly. The pool was lovely and there is plenty of good quality furniture outdoors. Overall this is a great villa that is a few minutes walk to the village square for food and drinks, has great sea views and is away from traffic so quiet.

Everything went very well. Nonetheless some mail interaction could have be more personalized and accurate; as an example when booking a Volkswagen EOS, they keep on talking about group H rather than saying "Yes Mr. XYZ the car will be an VW EOS we have checked it with the car rental company and they confirmed it."

We had a wonderful week in Marlene. All the arrangements for the villa and the car hire went very smoothly. The villa was exactly as described and the welcome exceeded any of our expectations.

The service from Chania Rentals was just perfect. The objects was presented very detailed on their webpage, the booking went smoothly. You just have to pay a deposit on booking and the rest was payed on arrival. People from the car rental agency met up at the airport and the house owner met us on time when we arrived at the villa. We were also very satisfied with the villa (Io Villa, Xirokampi), very comfortable, very well equipped and a fantastic sea view. The owners, Stella and Manos, did their very best to make our week rememberable. Nothing to improve, just keep on doing the good job!!!
