I was looking to rent a property in Raynes Park and had a very good experience with Ramana from Winchester White. The viewings were arranged with efficiency and the whole process ran very smoothly.

Winchester White is more than an agency. After we suffer 2 months with other agencies to find our new home we met with Winchester white. Their reponse time and solution focused approach was pricesless. They are not only a agency they are a full guide who the people very new to this country. We always have fast responses to our requests from them. I will never forget their efforts to settle us in our new home in 2 days!

I had really bad experience with WW Wimbledon/Collier Wood branches as a tenant. At “selling point” they promised you one thing but do not fallow through once offer is made and money are taken. As someone posted here, misleading on each step. The agency did not check what the requirements for newly builds be convert into rental are: taking on a tenants eligibility, repairs management, etc, etc. The property was for sale and was never meant to be rental. Background check is beyond needed and intrusive. I do consider this as privacy data violation. Nothing was discussed/explained before offer was made. Nightmare of experience on the move in day. Property was not cleaned (promised to be professionally cleaned), grime and filth everywhere. Appliances were not checked if in working condition before letting people live in this property. Thermostat batteries were not checked, was not able to turn on heating on a cold move in day. No manuals were provided. I asked to postpone the move for 1-2 days before all this is resolved, but money was already taken, end of negotiation. I was not properly explained that there is no check in inventory walk through, tenants pick up the key from the agency and you are on your own from there. On the move in day they were still doing my background check and I did not know if I am moving in on that day or not. Only by 7 pm I finally moved in (the day fully paid by me). Issue did not end there. It’s been only three weeks since I moved in and troubles continues: plumbing issues, as a result no washing machine, no washer /drier. As the troubles still continue, I will be trying to find the resolution. Even with little rights we as tenants have we do have rights. WW as a letting agency is supposed to meet certain criteria to have its license. Property is managed by WW too. I do need to point out that the WW that managing the property does try to resolve all the current issues. UPDATE. Jan 2022. In response to WW. If you want to continue we can continue: 1. I didn’t want to pursue it, but you make me to. Requesting 3 month detailed bank statements in addition to 3 month payslips, formal confirmation of my salary from my employer, etc. is not industry standard. There should be some sensibility check what you are requesting. This was excessive and very invasive, it was immediately pointed out in my email. There will be end to this one day as it already happened with all the additional fees letting agencies charged in the past. If you want to discuss this further, please reach out to me (no Jake please). 2. All letting agencies work on Saturdays, this is standard. Nobody asked the Wimbledon team to work over weekend to meet “my desired” (it was not) move-in day. I personally requested to postpone not to be under pressure and was denied. 3. You worked on the weekend and failed to check that the apartment was not cleaned and was filthy when I moved in. 4. WW Wimbledon team (not a team currently managing the flat) made a mistake during pre move, it happens. I wish you just apologized and moved on. I stay by my review as it is true. Your call to me after I posted it didn’t help either.

My first experience as a landlord was made simpler then I expected by Elizabeth and her team at Winchester White. They provided an excellent service. They were efficient and friendly; keeping me updated at all times and very helpful in answering questions and providing information. They found a tenant within a few days of me signing the contracts which seems amazing.

The team at Winchester White were simply excellent. I was initially apprehensive because they were not based in my local area but in the event that did not raise any issues at all. They were incredibly pro-active and efficient right from the start. After a comprehensive first meeting with Elisabeth, where I was given a very professional pack setting out everything that I needed to know, I received a prompt follow up call and then, after securing my business, the team had within two days taken excellent pictures and listed my property on the main portals. I was receiving updates from the lettings negotiators every few days. I could see that the team was working very hard for me. I was particularly grateful for the speedy way in which all the necessary safety checks were completed before the tenants moved in, which I would never have had the time to arrange or oversee myself. After a week I had a strategy call with my Lettings manager to discuss progress and where she suggested we reduce the asking price, which I did slightly. After two weeks of listing Winchester White has secured a lovely couple for my flat. I would not hesitate to recommend Elisabeth and her team. You really are in good hands!
