I had to change my policy due to birth of my daughter but I have little knowledge of how life insurances work. Chrissy and Abdul at Beagle Street have been fantastic at being patient and answering all my questions, while baby is screaming at the background. They were very helpful and I didn’t feel embarrassed to ask them anything! They changed my policy very quickly with no problems.

The agent I spoke with - David - was most helpful in dealing with my application. There were some complications throughout the process and he made the necessary arrangements to overcome them, got back to me with clear information and got myself and my wife the cover we wanted. Thank you. I have not given the full 5* based on the fact that I had to make multiple calls and not all agents are as prepared to help.

Thank you Beagle Street. My wife and I have just had a successful critical illness payout, it took around 3 months from submitting the claim, however the majority of this was the GP dragging their heels, beagle street/Scottish friendly worked fast when they had the information. I usually had a reply via email within 24 hours, my only small criticism is that when a claim is going on a few months a weekly update even if to say there is nothing new would be good as it reminds us that you haven't forgotten I always emailed you but you did reply very quickly. I would recommend them to everyone, obviously I wish it was one of those insurances we payed for and never needed but we are relieved as some of the financial burden has been lifted. Thank you to everyone who dealt with my many emails on your claims team.

I have been thinking for numerous times why do I need a life insurance. To make it simple if you don’t have one your family or relatives might struggle to afford what’s left behind, I wanted to ensure myself that if something happens with me in worst case scenario the family is covered. If you are a parent or in civil partnership or you car about your loved ones you must have a life insurance. Make the story short I have got one and what a pleasure in dealing with Abdul the customer service rep that went above and beyond ensuring he offer us all the asspects before we decide on policy. So if you are looking for a life insurance Beagle (Abdul) are what you need.

Well I was surprised to find out my Beagle street policy had expired so I phoned the helpline and spoke to SK who was very helpful then Abdul who was able to quote me a good price and organised very simply a new policy for me. Would recommend the service to others.

Taking out life insurance with Beagle Street over 10 years ago was easy & straightforward. Policy comes in a lovely pack and obviously, you hope to never ever have to use it. Unfortunately, my husband died in a RTA in September leaving behind myself and two young children. The initial phone call to customer service was met with a very cold woman who couldn't even bring herself to pass on condolence. She assured me a Claims pack would be sent - over a week later I called and there had been an admin error, another pack was sent & recieved promptly. The real problems started when I realised Beagle Street are just the fluffy front person for Scottish Friendly. Unfortunately the experience has continued to go down hill and despite the insurers having everything they need to process the claim, they are still moving goal posts. I am at risk of losing our family home and have had to put my husbands funeral on credit cards - they do not give you the £5,000 the glossy printed brochure says they will whilst your claim is being processed. So utterly disappointed and disgusted with the level of care, fobbing off and lack of empathy. DO NOT RECOMMEND at all. I've learnt now, to check who is the underwriters of these lovely looking companies. An utter farce. **UPDATE this is the first condolences from Beagle Street - well done, only taken 3months!

Recently obtained my life insurance from Beagle Street after putting it off …. The process was straight forward enough and the communication was very clear. A little frustrating that there was a slight delay in cover, but this was down to the underwriting. David the customer service representative was excellent and could not have done more to assist, he was friendly, patient, clear and concise. He answered all of my questions clearly and made it easy to understand. A real asset to the company and I feel that it is not recognised enough when people do well. The reason that this is a 4 star review and not a 5 is nothing to do with the service or the product. It is purely the fact that my final price was £13 more than the “quick quote” …. I would understand if I declared certain health conditions, but I am a 26 year old healthy individual with no conditions to report. I don’t understand their workings but hey, I need to insure my life. David was excellent in trying to rework the cover to knock some pennies off, but unfortunately the quote stood. Overall I would recommend this company, based on the customer service I have received to this point.

I’ve had beagle street life policy with critical illness cover for over 10 years when I sadly had to make a claim as diagnosed with stage 4 cancer:(All process of claiming was very easy( my husband was dealing with it ), we provided all hospital letters / documents and this was sufficient - I was expecting to be coming back and forth with more evidence but no, nothing like that happened . It took about 6-7 weeks from the moment we put the claim together to the payout which also included an interest for 6 weeks when my claim was being processed.All communication was very smooth and people we dealt with were very polite and understanding of the situation.
