When in need of a quick loan Birch has consistently come through with an easy process and quick funding.

Birch lending is the worst loan to take out. The interest rate is like 150%. I took out a $1000 loan and had to make two payments a month! Ridiculous.... taking advantage of people in need of a loan.

Birch Lending here is my name Raul Dearmas so you cannot say that I do not have an account with you. I will state what my experience has been with this company and advise anyone who would listen that this organization does not seem to be operating lawfully. In Florida the amount of interest that could be charged on loans less that $500,000 is 18%. This is the law. I do not know how this product is able to charge 300%-400% interest on a short-term loan and for it to be legal. So back to my experience. I borrowed $1000 dollars from this company. I made 6 payments of $133 dollars a week for 6 weeks. So over 6 weeks I paid $798 towards a loan of $1000. On Tues I went to pay off the loan and my balance to pay it off was $992. So calculate how much interest that is on a $1000 loan. 90% or so. If you factored that out for the loan period of 10 months, you would be paying back over $4000 dollars on a $1000 loan. Adding insult to injury I was still charged the $133 dollar payment in addition to my paying off the balance. I wanted them to reverse the extra payment, but they denied my request even though my pay off balance was exactly the same. I will be disputing this with my bank. The public needs to be aware that this is not a company that is interested in helping people and will go to great lengths to conceal their activity. I have noticed that every negative review posted on this company have been taken down. It seems that they go through great measures to make sure that what they do is not made public. I am going to be inquiring with the Florida Department of Financial Services as to the legality of the financial products this company sells. I do not think Birch will be able to contest any of my experience with them and thank god i paid off my loan before anymore robbery would take place. Even with some loophole to the law that allows someone to charge this ridiculous amount of interest, you have to ask yourself Should They??? especially for people who are going through a hard enough time as it is. Products like this help destroy people and keep them subjugate. Please find other ways to make ends meet. This product will only hurt you in the long. You know if you were to check what the definition of Loan Sharking is you would find that it is something that you could be placed in jail for. The thing is that most Loan Sharks are not as bad as Birch Lending in what they charge for their loans. Please try and exhaust all options for getting a loan before doing business here. Peace to All!!
