I chatted with homedesignoutletcenter and they could not come up with instructions after 3 attempts. I asked for them to post instructions on their website, which did not happen. They said and Alya representative would get back to me, they did not. The product looks great but getting help was poor.

United States | 29 July 2016We are doing a small bathroom remodel and needed an nice looking but not high-end vanity and found one at a good price while browsing online. Luckily they have an outlet store near us and my wife went to look at the item and liked it. The GOOD... I place an online order and the item was shipped quickly. It arrived on a pallet wrapped in plastic and strapped down. The boxes looked pristine so I did not make the driver wait while I physically inspected each of the 5 or so boxes. I then opened the vanity cabinet and it was in perfect condition. Next I opened the box containing the acrylic double sink top and found a large crack. Wow, I thought this is a bummer. So I called customer service and Gamze said send photos of the damage. I did and soon received an email that a replacement would be sent "right away" next week as it was a Friday. The NO SO GOOD... Even though they agreed to replace the top, they wanted me to dispose of a 120 pound acrylic double sink top. I explained the damage to the original was caused by them and as a customer it was not my responsibility to dispose of their damaged goods. I told them I was not their warehouse or garbage company. After a number of telephone calls and email exchanges the finally agreed to have the damaged part picked up when the replacement was delivered. And this did infact happen. The driver, however, did not have the pickup paperwork, but I told him that the freight Dispatcher assured me that even if they did not receive the proper Bill of Lading from HDOC they would pick it up and work out the details with the vendor. SUMMARY 1. After being in business since 2004 you would think they have a process and procedure for picking up damaged goods. I was told by one of the nice people at HDOC that they just had a meeting to make sure this does not happen to another customer. Great. But after 12 years in business they should have figured this out years ago. 2. Even though all the people I talked to at HDOC were very nice and friendly, I was shocked that I had to convince them that damaged goods are NOT the customer's problem. As the seller THEY are responsible for making the customer's experience smooth and problem free. 3. You are left with a heavy wood pallet that you must dispose of. This is something that they need to fix. So maybe if you get local delivery from one of their stores it might go better, if you get a freight delivery make sure you inspect EVERY box even if they show no outward sign of damage. In the end I did get a replacement top in good condition and the driver did pick up the damaged goods. But he did not have the paperwork I was assured was sent to the freight company and only after a phone call to the Dispatcher was the pickup assured. HDOC needs to improve the customer experience when things are damaged. You will see many 5 star reviews when things went great. But the true test of good customer service is when there is a problem. UPDATE: The response to my review by HDOC was not responsive and tried to make excuses. They do business ONLINE. So why complain that a delivery is "outside" your normal delivery area?/ They still do not "get it." They need to make delivery easy for the customer. They need to work with their delivery service, freight company or whomever, to ensure that the customer is not burdened by the delivery process. I was not making a "return" I was getting a replacement for DAMAGED goods. There is a difference. They still want to put the burden on the customer. They need to take responsibility! BEWARE in dealing with this company. If there is a problem it will be made YOUR problem!

She knew the inventory very well and narrowed down my selections based on my bathroom size, existing plumbing issues, delivery time and price. I ordered one vanity and it was in my garage the next day. The delivery man was so sweet and conscientious. The second vanity was ordered from California and delivered on the exact date I was told. I received a follow up email from Gamze making sure the order was received. The vanities are well made and the carrara marble top and the quartz top are really beautiful. I plan on visiting this company again for my next bathroom! One more thing- the prices cannot be beat and they include free shipping!

United States | 18 June 2016I'm redoing two bathrooms, I needed a 72" vanity with two sinks. HDOC had one ready to ship from Miami, they said they'd have it to me in two days. I'm thinking I'm all set. . . . and then the trouble began. The shipper HDOC uses, delivered the vanity on the plat to my driveway without me being there. The driver left it in my driveway and had someone (I have no idea who, someone passing by??) sign and he took off. When I got home I opened the box and the marble top is in TEN pieces, the wood base is cracked down the middle the corners are split open. Totally unusable. I call HDOC, we go round and round, "Someone signed for it, it's your problem", . . . they said they were doing me a "favor" by crediting me back my purchase price but they won't have the driver pick it up because it will cost them and they will lose money on it . . great customer service, way to back your products! So now I'm trying to sell my house, I have a broken 72" vanity sitting in my driveway because HDOC won't pay to pick it up, the shipper can't pick up without a place to bring it, HDOC won't accept it. Looks like I'm heading to small claims court for the cost of getting rid of this thing. So go to a store that backs their products. I went to Cabinet Discounters, great place, nice people, delivered a product in good condition and followed up. Once this place has your credit card, you are dirt to them. UPDATE: HDOC, thanks for the reply. I agree, I needed to be here when the delivery occurred, I spoke with PDX the day before, they said they would call on the date of delivery with a time window. I left my cell number and my husband's cell number with Sandra from PDX. The driver did not contact us and instead chose to leave the vanity in my driveway without our approval. Had PDX done their job, the driver would have called, I would have been here, I would have opened the crate and seen the damage and refused the delivery. I DID EVERYTHING I WAS ASKED TO DO, yet here I am stuck with the cost of disposing of a 72" vanity because HDOC won't go to bat for their customer with the delivery company. I have no leverage with them, you are their customer yet you won't help . . . . .guess I'm off to small claims court to get reimbursed.

United States | 09 June 2016I recieved a crate full of damaged goods that came from the manufacturer and the shipping company. Spent a lot of money for this merchandise. Because I didn't have time to lift 200 pound vanity myself without help it fell out of the 5 day inspection period. Vanity poorly painted - mirror poorly painted - porcelain vanity top chipped. No help from Home Outlet Design!! Way to go for the great customer service and backing the product you sold me.

I am actually purchasing another vanity through home design!!!! My counter top, carrara white marble, was prettier than expected vanity in gorgeous condition and sink beauitufl!!!!

Greece | 22 May 2016I found this store on the Internet. Since I was had just purchased an apartment and needed to update the bathrooms, l visited their store in Secausus, NJ. The staff was very welcoming and spent time discussing there products. On another day I returned and ordered the vanities I liked. I also discussed purchasing a shower door, which I then found at another site. Happily they matched the price and all was delivered. The only glitch was the shower panel. This could not be installed for a multitude of reasons. After several phone calls and emails, I have finally received a return shipping label, so that this item can be shipped to the Miami store and the cost refunded.

Three weeks later and me consistently calling, the mirror was in and I had to go pick it up. The mirror was unwrapped without a box to transport in. Customer service is not their strength by far.

United States | 20 May 2016Me and my wife traveled an hour away to the Orlando showroom. The sales associate was happy to sell us vanity and mirrors . So when the shipment arrived and one the mirrors was damaged . I called the Orlando store and the sales associate Was not willing to help with the return of mirror so I called the main head quarters and still have a hard time getting my mirror replaced .I even would asked for manger to call me and would never call me still to this day I have not received my mirror poor customer service after the sale I wil never buy anything for this company again.
