I have learned a lot about working in an office that I didn't know before. My computer has improved 100%. The professors were excellent teachers, they were patient, comforting and really took their time in helping me. This was a new experience for me and I was very anxious but they calmly helped me through the situation. The work course was so easy to understand that I caught on easily. I loved the step-by-step instruction with the different computer programs that were in the course. I'm more of a hands-on person so it was very easy for me.

Coming from a recent graduate, CD-ED provides students with a foundation in Graphic Design, a year of practical experience, and a diploma upon graduation. It's enough to propel any inspiring Graphic Designer into a career of their making.

I have been a stay at home mom for 12 years. Though I know I have many valuable skills I was terrified to re-enter the work force with such a bare resume. I feel alot more confident in myself after completing the administrative assistant diploma. I am by no means a "techy" person and now I have computer skills I never thought I'd be capable of! The instructor was so wonderful.

Support and direction from staff is incredible! There was always some available to ask questions to and if they weren't sure, they were open about finding the best resource available. They were always so understanding and compassionate and I genuinely felt like a member of the team. I would highly recommend using CD-ED to develop and prepare yourself for your next career journey! I am taking the MOA course and I couldn’t be more pleased. The teachers are great and check in on you. They are available to help you when needed. It was a wonderful experience, it was a bit tricky to remember the time difference between myself and my instructor. Otherwise, not a huge deal, mostly a problem on my end.

I am just finishing up my diploma in Health Information Management. CD-ED is an incredible school with a well-structured curriculum. Instructors are very supportive and always respond quickly to emails. The flexibility of online learning and the design of the schedule keeps you on track to finish the program in time. I would recommend CD-ED to everyone, as you can complete your studies while working.

Friendly staff, instructors are helpful and the course ran smoothly! I was able to complete the general office administration. I’ve recently changed my mind on what I want to do and attending again for the medical office assistant program. I’m very excited!

I really enjoyed the course! My instructor Karen is amazing, and I would recommend CD-ED to anyone. Only thing for me is that a lot of the material/books were about 5 years old (2016), which in terms of technology can be a lot. Still, excellent and valuable course, and I can’t wait to use my new skills!!

I am in the Graphic Design program in CD-ED and it has been nothing but amazing. From the care the instructor puts in, and to the student services team as well. When searching for programs, I found other colleges were asking 3 times the amount CD-ED was, while offering a very similar course. I loved that CD-ED is 100% online and can be done from anywhere. This was very important to me. I am two weeks away from being done my course, and I am excited and ready to begin my career in Graphic Design.

I just graduated the OAA program and am very impressed. The instructors are amazing! They go over and beyond to help out and were always available when I needed them. The Centre for Distance Education was a unique experience of learning/schooling that I was not used too. The instructors were very helpful and took the time to help with any questions within a reasonable time period. The assignments were all thought provoking and contributed to learning the content in a different manner which helped me remember better what I was learning. I would highly recommend CD-ED to anyone looking to enter a career in Health Information Management.

Great Experience! I really enjoyed this experience. It challenged me and helped me to achieve my goal of becoming an HIM professional. While the program did not match my learning style of being in a classroom setting, I received great support from the instructors, even on the weekend. The feedback from instructors after each assignment was so instrumental and helpful in me understanding and learning the information. I would recommend the HIM program at CD-ED to anyone who is dedicated.
