I graduated in 2018 with a Graphic Design Diploma. The instructors were great and I am satisfied with the skills I gained in the Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). However I was disappointed with the lack of training I recieved in web development. At the time, the CD-ED unit on web development included going to Wix and following the online tutorials. This was insufficient. Since graduation I have enjoyed freelance designing using the skills I gained at CD-ED, however I have had to pass up employment opportunities due to my lack of training in web development and UI and UX design. The majority of graphic design postings I have seen require these skills. I hope that this gap in training has been rectified in the current program.

Overall a really good school, the ladies in the finance department are angels with helping figure out how to apply for student aid for my first time and the lovely lady who helped me register and properly understand my course was amazing as well. My teacher is a kind woman, who has been helpful when I was struggling. Overall the staff have been awesome, but the reason I only gave a four star rating is because I think some of the course material could use a bit of a proofreading, as there are some typos and some questions seem to be lacking specific information, such as providing scenarios when asking to explain what solution to implement in a specific scenario.

I honestly had a great time during my time with CDED. My instructor was always available and very pleasant and eager to help.

Enrolling at Cd-Ed for my course was a very enriching experience. The course was well planned and thoughtfully spaced. The best part of my education were my instructors, Jennifer and Lucille. They were ever ready to help and go that extra mile. During this isolating pandemic, Lucille helped me on numerous occasions to not give up and believe in myself. Graduating is bittersweet, because I am going to miss our phone conversations. Thank you so much.

CDED has been amazing and I cannot thank the staff and the instructors enough for all the help and guidance! My only concern is some of the outdated resources which doesn’t match the updated softwares but the instructors are so helpful that they’re happy to guide and instructs you through it. It has been a fun and productive year with CDED

The Health Information Management (HIM) Program of CD-ED has allowed me to learn at my own pace with the guidance and direction of highly competent and seasoned educators who are greatly invested in my learning experience and in monitoring my progress. In many instances, they reach out when they notice bumps and challenges in my performance. With that, I can tell that they have genuine concern for me and that they are committed to ensure my success. I truly appreciate their effort. Initially, I thought online programs would be quite impersonal but CD-ED proved me wrong. There is a sense of community that I felt from admission to graduation. Everything had just been smooth and seamless. With poor coordination as one of my pet peeves, CD-ED is no doubt a well-coordinated educational institution. I highly recommend CD-ED for anyone looking into online learning. As evidence, I have two friends enrolled in HIM.

Overall, it has been a great experience. I would give it 5 stars, however I found some portions of some lesson plans out-dated; a very minor detail. I took the Office Administrative Assistant program. It was fairly manageable to navigate and complete while working full-time. The instructors are great at getting back to you within 24 hours. If you're looking to update your education or add credentials to your resume and don't have the ability to stop working, CD-ED is a great choice.

I really liked how the course was laid out and let me learn by myself but still have some structure so I never went off course. I would recommend CD-ED for anyone that likes to learn on their own and work at somewhat of your own pace.

I have been enrolled for approximately 1.5 years. Graduating in 2 weeks, I can honestly say that I am very happy with this school and the course taken. The instructors are great, and they are patient people thank gosh. The instructors know their courses inside out and the rest of the school staff are wonderful also. All round a great experience that I would recommend to anyone. If I decide to undertake further upgrading in the future CD-ED will be my first choice.

Great structure for online learning, supportive staff/teachers, steady workload.

It was a great experience doing course with CDED. I am really thankful to all my teachers for helping me out with completion of the course. Although I was going through hard time with my personal life I could complete my course with support of CDED. I learned lot many things from here!! Thanks again!!

I loved this course. The teacher’s are friendly and helpfull. I believe that they even helped me on their off hours. Everything on the site was so easy to follow and keep up with everything going on.

CD-ED graphic design course was a good fit for me as a stay-at-home mom. I learned a lot in one year! My instructor was great but a little slow in grading my assignments. I would definitely recommend CD-ED to everyone.

The Centre for Distance Education provided me with the flexibility and ability to complete a diploma program. The ability to learn from home and set my own hours set me up with the best chance of success. Their instructors and staff are very kind and helpful and their outline was clear and focused enough to help me learn independently. I graduated with hands on experience that is very relative to my future field of Graphic Design.

It was a great experience and amazing opportunity for me to study with CD-ED. I took Medical Office Administration and really did get a lot of support along my whole journey with the program. The instructors were always very understanding and supportive, always there when needed help. I would really recommend CD-ED to anyone who is wanting to study online.

CD-ED allowed me to receive a quality education with the flexibility of studying at home. The courses were easy to follow, and the instructors were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend CD-ED to anyone, especially those returning to school later in life and/or who have children at home. I'm looking forward to my new career opportunities in Health Information Management!

Centre for Distance Education granted me the best of both worlds; I was able to complete an entire college program all while continuing to work full-time. Throughout my course, it had been very apparent that the instructors and all of the staff at CD-Ed care greatly for their students.
