If I could leave a Zero I would. Like other reviewers I too have had a horrible experience. The website looks great with the TEP Satisfaction Guarantee, but it couldn't be father from the truth. I had to call them 4 times while overseas to get my device to work in both Egypt and Jordan. I racked up $95.00 in charges calling them and spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service during my trip. I have called customer service three times since coming home asking if there is any refund they can offer due to my poor experience with the device that should have worked right out of the gate and not required 4 calls to get it to work. I have spent over an hour on hold between the three calls to customer service since getting back to the states. Was even told i would get a call from a supervisor and no call back came. All they will say is send back the device and after we get it back we will tell you what if any refund we will give you. Why can someone not simply tell me what they can offer to try and make this right. It is ridiculous. I have even posted reviews on their website that the have pulled down so that other prospective cleints will not see it. How horrible is that!!! I took screen shots of the post and can provide as proof. Avoid this company like the plague. Horrible customer service.

I never leave reviews... 0 stars. I am stressed to near the point of tears by this company using me. I purchased a $99 monthly subscription with a device to help me have internet connectivity in a place with an unreliable and frequently dropping wifi connection. I received the device after two days of shipping issues. I got the device up and running only to find that I am in the exact same situation. I was misguided by advertisement claims to think that I could use this device to connect primarily to internet providers and bypass the local wifi networks which are shoddy. Unfortunately this is not possible as the device just automatically connects to the same shoddy wifi networks and there is no way to change that. I was 100% led to believe this product is something different than it actually is. That being said, they claim their pillar of business is to ensure that things are "fair" in their package inserts and websites. I messaged an agent explaining my problem and how this product is not what I thought it was due to the lack of functionality. I need stable network connection provided by the internet networks in the area, not yet another device to lose signal every other minute when the wifi goes down. This is all only hours after receiving the device, and it has only been used for less than 5 minutes (enough to turn it on and figure out it's not doing what I needed it to.) Not only did the employee tell me that they can't tell me whether or not I will get a refund for the $99 I paid until I go out of my way and shell out even MORE money to return the product on my own time and dollar (still to not even know if I will get a refund or not), but she also says they will charge me an additional $129 for cancelling a plan I NEVER USED. She refused to give me the contact information for anyone else in the company or appropriate departments I can reach out to for help when I requested this multiple times. I feel completely violated as a consumer. My experience with this company is that they are dishonest, unhelpful, and exploitative of the very people who wanted to give them their money and business. Anyone familiar with consumer rights?? I feel used by a company doing shady business. I read good things about their customer service and their own claims to "fairness", but I have never been taken advantage of so badly from a company.

Decided to go on a solo trip to Korea during my birthday week last August and since I am exploring a new city, I decided to use Tep Wireless to make life easier. Searching for city bus or train routes going to the destinations and spots I’d love to see was made more seamless and efficient with my handy Tep at hand. Looking forward to exploring more destinations this year and the next with my same device.

Great service all round. Easy to set up and get going, you’ll be connected in no time. Had a small issue with connectivity one of the days and customer support resolved it in an instance. Would definitely use again on my next trip.

I have been using Tep Wireless for two years now. It’s my go-to pocket-WiFi whenever I travel because of it’s strong connection. I used the new Teppy 4g and I brought it to my recent trip to Canada and US. It was delivered to me right away. It comes with a pouch and a universal adaptor. It’s so handy and convenient! I also travelled to Hawaii and even brought this to my hikes and beach trips. I had excellent internet connection EVERYWHERE. I use to navigate, search for must-go restaurants and tourists spots and even used it for streaming! I will definitely use Tep Wireless again in my next travels!

First, my stupid fault for not realising I was buying via a USA site (not AUD), so the cost was 1.5 x more than expected, plus bank charges for forrin. I'd have been cheaper with a roaming package. The adapter provided was a bit shonky and one of the screw-on (why?!) socket plug tips broke off easily a few days before I left the UK - it kept getting loose. I'm not sure what the device relied on but for around half the time I was away, there was no service and I needed to use local wifi instead. I wanted to speak to someone at the Heathrow drop off point to explain about the broken plug but was told they are just a third party i.e. Teflon shoulders. All round, mediocre wifi service, poor quality chunky hardware that ran out of juice very quickly. After using a spectacular (much smaller) equivalent recently in Japan, I wouldn't use this one again.

Brilliant device and service. Used it for wireless connection in Japan. Especially good when using GPS - essential for finding my way around - and when using Translation apps. No problems with connection and very reliable. So good in fact I have now bought my own!

I got a Tep Wireless for a 3-week trip my wife and I took to Europe (Austria, Switzerland & Italy). From the time we landed in Vienna until we returned home, the Tep worked flawlessly, giving us access to email and the websites we use on a daily basis. We typically had 2 iPhones and an iPad connected without any issues. Tep battery life was fine. There were only two times when it didn't last a day, both the result of not having fully charged it overnight. But that's why I had a battery backup. I was also pleased with tech support from Tep. When I did have a question, I got a quick response on Chat. I won't be traveling internationally without my Tep!

20 Stars. I will never go on vacation ever again without my tep Wireless. Best money I've ever spent. Our vacation would have been ruined without it. It works great in the city areas and even the small towns and villages where we were staying. But what really surprised me was its performance in remote areas. We was in the Tabernas desert in Southern Spain and had incredible internet service. We got lost and thanks to Google Maps and tep Wireless we was able to get out of the desert.

This is my third time renting from Tep Wireless and it was another great experience, so it's time for a review. Customer service is excellent, the device was delivered in plenty of time prior to my trip (to Croatia) and the WiFi service in country was flawless; always had a connection no matter where I was (even on a boat in the Adriatic with a very weak cell signal). And the price is right - way, way cheaper than my wireless carrier's extortionate international roaming plan. Unfortunately, Norwegian Airlines lost my luggage on the way home (with my Teppy in it) and I didn't get it back until 3 weeks later. Fortunately, though, after I explained the situation to the customer service reps (shout out to Lou and Stela!) they cancelled my late fee, which they didn't have to do. Much appreciated. Great service, great product, great people running a great company. Will definitely use Tep again.

A friend referred my to Tep Wireless when I told him I was going to Greece for 2 weeks and would be driving all over the country including to some of the islands via car ferry. I was a little skeptical as to the coverage and speeds while on the road and on the remote islands, but the Tep wifi worked like a charm. It connected instantly when I turned it on and never had any connectivity issues everywhere we went. Through the mountains, in large and small cities and on remote islands. Whether it was lite web surfing, steaming movies or using it for GPS, not a single hiccup. I will definitely be using this for any future international travel! Thanks Tep

If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered this on a 3 month minimum contract at $100 month because I had a few trips planned. Went on my first trip about a week after it arrived. Was gone 10 days and had NO WiFi the entire time no mater if I was in a city or on the road, it just buffered and that’s all. Once I returned home I called them and told them it does not work and requested to return it and cancel. I was told their teem would look into it. A few days later I got an email saying that because I had not had any previous complaints they could not do anything and I was stuck paying my contract but they would give me two days free WiFi. Not sure how that helps when it does not work. I called them again to inform them I only had the unit for 2 weeks and that I only took one trip so how could I report problems before this. The lady agreed and sent it to the team again and now 3 days later I get the exact email I got before saying I’m obligated and to my contract. Do not get this WiFi! You will be stuck paying for nothing!

STAY AWAY from this service!! TEPwireless service is beyond spotty here in Nicaragua. There is close to no connectivity at all no matter what city you go to. When we reached out to TEP about our circumstances, they did absolutely nothing to help. They don't offer refunds of any kind. We either have to finish our 3 month subscription and pay $300 or switch to pay-as-you-go and pay for 10 days of service without connectivity, and $130 for the device. Shady business practice with no follow-through on their "Satisfaction Guarantee" or "seemless connectivity".

I don't know what I would have done, had someone not introduced me to TEP Wireless and this gem of a product they offer. Since I only stumbled upon it through a friend, I wanted to make sure I find the right place to voice my opinion so others can benefit from their services too. Their 24/7 customer support is equally commendable. This makes your whole experience even more wholesome as you feel, the device has got your back, then the team at Tep have got the device's back. It's a cosy, fail-safe loop that invigorates your peace of mind while traveling. Now that's priceless! Highly recommended!!!

My TEPPY just survived being chewed by two German Shepherds! They got into my equipment while I was gone and stole the Teppy in its case. While the protective case has definite teeth marks, they did not pierce the fabric and the device and charger were totally safe inside. I'm impressed!

I absolutely loved using Tep Wireless on my travels through Europe and I won't ever travel overseas without it again! It worked perfectly for me through multiple countries, Germany, Portugal, France, Belgium, Slovenia etc. It's the perfect portable wifi device. Highly recommended.
