Beware! It was my 3rd time ordering a Tep and it is GREAT when it works. Except it doesn't always and this is when things get bad. I was given a device that wasn't registered under my account so had to turn on roaming to contact them so they can fix, which cost me £30. They fixed it. Then when battery ran low I realised my device's battery was dead - was only working when plugged in but impossible to charge the battery. So I could only use it in the hotel room, where I had wifi. I asked for a full refund which they accepted. Refund was not coming so I raised a PayPal dispute. They finally refunded but not the delivery fee because " the delivery fee has already been to the courier for having the device delivered". Like this is my fault they decided to pay the courrier to ship a device that was not working. So I'm out 4.95£, which is fine. I just will never use their services again.

I got the WiFi box for 3 days on a trip to New York. The WiFi box stop working after 3 hrs. Most of the 3 days there were no signals. Even we remove the battery and wait 5 min and then put it back still it stop working after a while. When there is signal it is very slow. The charging plug they sent is not working. I have to plug it into my I phone charger to charge as the staff advised. So I cannot charge my I phone when I am charging the WiFi box. There is no connection for second cell phone. There is no signal on subways. There is no WiFi when charging. The battery drained extremely fast in a few hours. It is a very terrible experience and waste of money. Using the free WiFi at museum and liibrary is much eaiser than using TEP service.

we rented a Tep Wireless device for our recent France & Belgium trip. When we arrived in France, turned it on but got no signal. a quick call to Tep Customer Support, and they re-set it and viola, it worked great the remainder of our trip. Good signals as we drove around rural France and Belgium. we did not visit major cities on this trip. We will definately use Tep on our next international trip. we liked the 4G we'd upgraded to. Also.. we had rented a power bank, but never used it... as Tep held it's charge and was easily re-charged in the car and in the hotel room. thumbs up Tep!

Just got back From the land downunder and had uninterrupted WiFi the entire time with my Tep. I even hopped around a few other countries and had no issues at all. The 2gb was plenty for me (just my cell phone) as I had hotel WiFi at night. Good product, easy to set up. Great customer service. Arrived on time, easy prepaid usps pouch (just drop it in any mailbox)!

Could not be happier with this company. I travel (globally) extensively and have used (rented) several portable wifi services. Some were good. Some where horrible. But what impressed me most about Tep was the customer service I experienced today. I am in New York leaving for two+ weeks abroad - I fired up the Tep Wireless device and, for whatever reason, it was not connecting. I emailed their customer service explaining exactly what was happening - how the device was not connecting. After several emails back and forth (and several emails after their business hours were closed) they were able to, remotely, fix the issue and now I am writing this review connected to the internet via their service. What impressed me the most was - they were 100% dedicated to working with me all night if necessary to fix the problem (even offering to send a new device if necessary). I really appreciated the fact that they did not stop working to fix the issue and kept me informed every step of the way. And they DID resolve the issue (after hours). Thank you. It's rare you experience customer service like this firsthand. Thank you Tep Wireless. I will definitely be using your services from now on as I travel internationally a lot.

I got Tep when I was traveling round Asia and to bridge the gap of having no internet when I decided to stay and live her from a while. Customer service was great in helping me extend my rental and get another unit shipped out when I needed an upgrade. The device itself was simple to use and had a pretty decent battery life. All in all a good experience and I will certainly use them again.

Was originally issued a faulty device (it looked very out of date). Would work for about an hour before the battery would die. Contacted customer service and was issued a new one. This was slightly better, however there were several instances where we could not get any sort of service. We were not in remote areas, it just simply would not work, which was aggravating to say the least. There are definitely better products out there, stay clear of this one, it simply is not worth the hassle and inconvenience.

I can't speak for rental - but I bought a Skyroam hotspot through TEP 18 months ago. It never really worked properly. Most recently I was in Denmark and the device just froze at 15%. Apparently, this can be a software or firmware problem - but the company wasn't; able to solve it and told me my device was defective and out of warranty. Part of the problem appears to be that there are no emails about updating your device routinely that go out to customers. So, you don't know that you have a problem until you are on a trip - need Wi-Fi and are screwed. There are no links on the company website to software of firmware updates - you have to contact customer support - which makes no sense. Plus - you need to have a computer (connect to Wi-Fi) with you to perform the update - so it’s like a catch 22. Overall the customer support responds quickly but can't really help you. Also keep in mind that they ask you for your order number for any help provided - so I would write that sucker down and paste it to the back of your device since you won't be able to access any old emails about the order easily if you have problems. I'm going to try Keepgo instead - I've heard they have less technical problems.

From Ireland to Indiana, and Michigan just have never had a good experience. Initial boot times and connection times boarder of insanely long, many times never establishing a connection. Speeds were subpar and were tanked when a second device joined. This was a purchase for us as we travel frequently and now I basically have a paperweight. Device looks nothing like the one advertised and the instruction were lacking at best. I’d advise looking at other services if you want reliability.

Took this with me during my Asia trip and it was my first time to use a pocket wifi. It was such a relief knowing when I get home I won't get surprised with my bill. I was able to book uber, reserve restaurants online, google maps and be online! This device is such a good companion.

The Teppy worked perfectly during our vacation. It was very convenient to have it with us. Helped us to navigate and update our media accounts. In addition, customer support was very helpful. Looking forward to use this product again.

JUST AWFUL, took the device to Los Angeles for two weeks and it was just awful didn’t work properly most of the time , would take a long time to start up and even then sometimes had to turn it off and back on again just to get it to work, struggled to handle two phones connected to it, battery life was rubbish, it got to the point where my partner had to use her own mobile date which would have been cheaper to just use that instead of renting this device. Also found that they have removed my review from there website so it only shows positive reviews

Slow pocket wifi! Used it in France and Spain, it was so slow and I barely used it. Got back in the US and found out they were overcharging me. Bill was supposed to be $42 and they were charging me $87, unacceptable. Charging me for extra days but my device was already turned off. What a scam! Customer service was slow. I was put on hold for 45 mins. Customer service was very rude, not helpful at all. Don’t do business with these guys. Go somewhere else.

On return from holiday, I forgot to return the device. I was chased by TEPI when the device was 39 days overdue. I was told by their helpdesk that if I returned the device immediately they would consider waiving the late charge $175. On this advice, I returned the item recorded delivery the same day. Subsequently I received a charge for $175, which after sharing a print of the helpdesk conversation they reduced this charge by 50%. I think that this is unacceptable as it suggests they were not genuine when asked if they would waive my charge. If they had upheld the €175 (after including the postage), then it would have been cheaper for me just to claim that I had lost it.

They’re the best internet service provider I’ve ever had. The service tech they sent to use was very professional, helpful & efficient. He even set-up my new router and before left, he ensured that all of my devices were connected to the net. It’s high internet speed. - I could watch my favorite movies on-line without lagging.
