Charlie, I always look forward to eating your Sweet and Sour Chicken it is a favourite of mine and you do it so well. It lasts me two nights so very economical too. Probably one night for a big appetite eater though.

Fish pie over rated and expensive, lacked fish more potato than anything else, tasteless would have expected a lot more for the price the wooden dish doesn't do anything for the product, I'll stick to Aldi own tastes great beats Charlie bighams for a fraction of the price.

Pick up a Tikka Massala from Tesco today on sell by date. Just under a fiver, a fine tasty meal, like others have commented you would be hard pressed to make this stretch to a meal for two. Having said that there was too much rice for me as a solo eater, perhaps a small vegetable dish could be squeezed in instead.

Just tried your new Chicken Kiev’s. They were very tasty indeed and a decent size. Could have wished the stuffing oozed as much as the illustration on the pack but even so I will definitely buy these again - along with your excellent curries. The new wood packaging trays are brilliant! - I’m going to varnish them and turn them into cribs for my granddaughters' dolls and I’m sure I can find other uses too. Judy Hill.

Lots of packaging and nowhere near enough for two people as advertised. The pies looked impressive in their ceramic pots but they were all pastry and very little filling. The Thai curry was just about ok and a small portion for one although the rice would have served about 4. So much better to be had in the ready made meal market in terms of quantity and quality. We got this at a marked down price late in the day but I would have been hugely disappointed if we'd paid the full price of £8.

The whole range are very good. I tend to buy the Steak and ale pies etc, but will no longer be buying them until Bighams STOP using ceramic dishes as it is incredible wasteful and they all get binned. Why carnt you use some other recyclable less expensive product which would reduce the sale price of your product as well.

So glad I've started to buy Bigham's products. Because I live on my own I'm pleased that I can purchase pies etc. for one person. Cannot fault the quality - particulary like the fish pie and the Tikka Masala. Gordon Brookes - Stafford

I had the chicken, ham and leek pie. It was dry and was made of mainly pastry with very little proper filling. Really disappointed given the price and sales pitch.

The chicken Kiev was VERY disappointing- maybe a change in recipe or quality of the chicken but I won’t be buying it again.

Bought this so called fish pie at Tescos. Sadly lacking in fish should be called soggy mash pie. Was not cheap either , comes in a fancy wooden container that makes it difficult to serve . Will not be buying this again. If I was served this in a restaurant I would definitely send it back

A friend recently gave me a Fish Pie and a Cottage Pie from the Charlie Bigham collection. I have cooked and eaten both of them over the last week. Although the rustic wooden packaging looks very appealing giving it that rural cottage look, the actual contents where disappointing, both were fairly bland tasting, Ok, but nothing to write home about, also I think they are quite expensive. I cook myself and do make Fish Pie sometimes which is a lot more tasty than this offering. I do quite a lot of my shopping in ALDI and sometimes purchase their own brand ready meals, they are a lot more tasty than these offerings and a lot cheaper as well!

I’ve seen this lasagne a few times in Tesco, but thought it was a bit pricey at £4.75! Decided to treat myself, but was very disappointed! Lasagne was quite bland! Very tomatoey and not much other flavours coming through! Sauce was quite thin and not a lot of cheese for extra flavour. Definitely won’t buy this product again!

So far we love everything we tried, we have had the cottage pie cooked it for 50 mins through lovely. And I bought a second one already We tried the chicken and mushroom pies, and the Leek and ham, both full of meat,so good perfect timings for these. Tried to get the salmon en croute, nope got substitutes with own. And got the lasagne to try. And coque au van . In my opinion love the dishes brilliant idea can eat from them. Huge potion, so we have veg with it that's it. And worth every penny . Oh tried the curry very nice but too spicy for me, but the rice gorgeous YOUR ON A WINNER !! Do More.

I have not been eating “ready meals” for a while but due to current circumstances my husband has had to work away and I have been trying some out. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and have to say this is the best curry ready meal I have ever had. Even better than some restaurants. Tasted fresh and so full of flavour. The packaging attracted me to the brand and although looked small (which doesn’t bother me as I don’t like large portions) when decanted there was plenty of both curry and rice. Way better than any M&S which is my usual. I’ve see some reviews saying it’s pricey but for something so akin to a freshly made meal I am happy to pay a bit more. Definitely worth it and I will be checking out the rest of the range.

Fish pie: when this first came out it was fantastic but now it is just stingy. Waste of money. Supermarket own brands are much better.

Well my husband and myself have had the most delicious steak and ale pies with the puff pastry. The meat and other ingredients were so tasty just like home cooked and the icing on the cake is that you get two lovely ceramic dishes to boot. It is beautifully presented and would certainly buy them again. Would have to be a special treat as if anything they are slightly expensive. Thank you.

Anyone else noticed the pies in the ceramic dishes are smaller, I only noticed because we save the dishes to use as pet food bowls and they've recently reduced in size
