United States | 12 February 2024So, I'm throwing in the towel on this. Everything started out smooth. Then all the sudden I had a different advisor every week. Ok people change jobs and titles no biggy. I got super sick in the middle and I kept everyone in the loop. I wasn't going to finish on time. Ok no problem got an extension. In the middle of the extension they locked the laptop. It took a MONTH to get a new one. That left me with a month and a half to finish. Ok still not a problem. Then I get an email from the person that got me an extension telling me "You are receiving this message as notification your student status with MedCerts is now Expired as a result of having not completed your program within one year from your start date. You no longer have access to the Learning Management System and all further outreach from support staff will be suspended". It's been a nonstop issue since I got sick and I really don't need the added stress. Edit: Workforce called on Monday Feb 12th to let me know they had finally received paperwork on Feb 2nd. and that Medcerts was paid in full. I spoke to my advisor today and was told that yet another email had to be sent from workforce to Medcerts.
