This is for life storage in Carmel NY . I had a unit for over 10 years. I am a very satisfied customer. Wanda , from the office , was always very helpful and a pleasure to deal with . Always willing to help and very courteous. She is the face of life storage and very professional in her role .

I was not told at the time of payment the unit I was getting was an indoor only accessible unit along with the fact the garage would smell of rodents & urine.I was told by the attendant the smells were due to a field behind the storage garage.The attendant showed me rodent killer in the crevices of my units doors which she explained would be put back every couple of days.I was mortified this was the state of the unit I had just purchased &was not made aware of any of these conditions before I signed my contract.

Everything was explained in full detail without any pressure whatsoever. Very clean facility.

I like the store #561 location because it is clean and well maintained. Also, the staff gives good information concerning storage units, updates, notifications, ect. One of the representatives named Shavon at the Paulina /Howard location gave me great information on how to reserve a unit online and take advantage of the current promotions they had available.

Great customer service and pleasant employee's to deal with. I also like this location because I can load and unload out of the winter weather or rainy weather at other times. I deal with or at least get a pleasant greeting from Sharon as I am at my unit 3or 4 times per week.

Doug was very patient answering all my questions and helped me figure out what size locker would work for my needs. Then explained all the paperwork to me.It was such a smooth transition for me..Thank you Doug for helping me solve my storage issues.

Great service, place is very clean

The office at the storage facility is scheduled to open at 8:30 am on Saturdays. I arrived early and was waiting for it to open up. The customer service representative did not show up until 8:45, at which point I walked up to the door to enter the facility. The door was still locked and the customer service representative rudely yelled at me through the door "I just got here" and made me wait outside in 27-degree weather for another 5 to 10 minutes. Once I was in the office, they proceeded to act as if I was bothering them while they checked me into my storage unit. I understand things happen that may cause you to be late, but there is no excuse for being rude to a customer and making them wait outdoors after you are already late opening at your scheduled time.

Tammy took time to show all the options available and to make sure I was satisfied. She efficiently registered me for the rental and explained the usage requirements. I am pleased with her service!

Lisa Mendez should not be in customer service. Rude, argumentative, and not the kind of person to be behind your counter. That’s the only reason I gave a 1 star. Otherwise the place is great. New building with new units and good prices. Tanya Zuniga was very helpful and even apologized to me for her coworkers rude behavior
