Des Gosling did a fantastic job. Our new car was a Mercedes CLA which has an unusual rear profile meaning many hoists would not fit (auto chair for example). Des Gosling ordered a number of hoists so we could see and try before deciding which one to use. They then fitted it professionally and quickly. We thoroughly Recommend them.

Everything went smoothly, my only criticism would be the steering aid the knob is on the inside of the wheel, I could do with it being on the outside of the wheel.

We had an adaptation to our vehicle to include a hoist to enable my husband to better ‘manage’ our trips out using my scooter. He has an ongoing heart condition and although we had chosen the lightest scooter on the market, lifting it into the boot was proving difficult and strenuous. Having a hoist fitted has made life a lot easier. It is simple to operate and tucks away into the side of the boot neatly. There is just one criticism- not including a car sticker which warns other road users not to park too close, in order to allow enough space for the hoist to operate effectively. We had to purchase one separately.

REALLY GREAT SERVICE WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS

We wanted a hoist fitted to carry our TWS Tramper in our Mark 4 Galaxy. Everyone we spoke to said it could not be done. Then we found Des Gosling. He was not at all fazed by our request. After doing a couple of measurements, he told us he could fit a suitable hoist . Three days later, after Scott had fitted we were thrilled to bits. The service we received from all the staff we met was outstanding. They made us feel like old friends. Problem solved. We would highly recommend this company.

Good service but a lack of communication after the hoist was fitted. I could have waited all day to find out if the job was finished if I hadn't called the dealership. Would have been a 5 star if the communication was better.

Des Gosling fitted hand controls to my new Subaru Outback at the dealer's premises in Cheltenham. It was expertly fitted and efficiently so. I have used the company in the past and will be using them again to fit a hoist in the boot later on. A very reliable and friendly company!

Des Gosling Mobility is brilliant! They are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and frequently go above and beyond for the customer. From flexibility when making appointments to giving honest advice on any query, they prove themselves to be fabulous engineers who treat their customers with respect and care. I would definitely recommend them for all car needs for disabled customers and I have been going there for the last twenty years or more.
