I recently took delivery of a new motability vehicle and needed a hoist installed for my wheelchair. Des Gosling employees, contacted me personally to find out the make and weight of wheelchair and arranged for a fitting which was done promptly. The hoist is easy to use, compact and I still have some room in the boot for storage. I am delighted with the whole process and highly recommend this company.

The team ensured that the products I had selected were appropriate. They were happy to discuss any questions I had (even if they were stupid or they had heard them 10 times already). On my last car I had to contact goslings as when my car was washed they moved the steering column and messed up my hand controls. Goslings fixed my hand controls quickly and sorted it so it couldn’t happen again. The team are approachable, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A professional outfit with that family feeling.

I really would like to give 5 stars because when there was a problem they sorted it and stayed over to do it. However, as well as originally wrongly thinking they had had a chair like mine in and hence not appreciating the size, there is also an issue with the lollipop not being wired up to do the hazards. This may have been down to the Vauxhall Sales Consultant but as it is an extra to be ordered specifically I would have expected clarification before finalising an order without it...

Fitter was very helpful and arrived at the expected time. The hoist was demonstrated very well by the fitter, and it works very well as it will unload and load my mobility scooter in minutes and without any effort at all.
