UPDATE: BlueFiks sent installers from LA to Atlanta for which I'm appreciative. With my project now complete I'm updating my review to 2 stars (previously 1 star) only because the installers were kind & thorough. However, I did confirm that the installers are not actually employed by BlueFiks. Instead they are essentially like "DoorDash" as described by our installers. The 2 men work for a different company & replied to a job posting put out by BlueFiks to complete my project. They were wonderful & I intend to figure out what company they work for so I can leave a positive review for them. As for them being licensed/insured as BlueFiks' websites states, I asked my project coordinator & he will not answer my question which might be an answer within itself. If I could leave 2 reviews I would keep my previous 1 star review for my customer service experience. On that note, I've actually been told to REMOVE my original review or else I "will definitely not be satisfied". First, I see that as a threat. Second, I find it ironic that I'm being given a deadline with BF couldn't meet their promised deadline to complete my project. Lastly, it would be a disservice to others if I remove my review where I share my horrible experience. The last thing I will say is that after my unsatisfactory experience I was told BF would compensate me for my troubles. First they offered 2 future projects free of charge. I told them that wouldn't be necessary as I will never use them again. To that, my project coordinator promised to "compensate for the delay & trouble we have caused" but they did not offer any compensation in the end. BF has wonderful reviews on the West Coast where they are based, but the East Coast operation is abysmal. ____ Where do I begin? I'll start by saying that I'm writing this review without receiving services from BlueFiks. Why? Because the installer never showed on BOTH days I had booked. I filled out the online form Dec 8th. Varojan was quick to text me requesting more info about my project. I supplied the necessary info & let him know this install was for my son's birthday party which would be taking place the weekend after the install date I was requesting. He assured me he could meet my deadline & provided me a quote. That quote was more than DOUBLE what others provided. I let him know I was pricing it out & that I would get back to him shortly. He followed up less than 2 hours later asking for my answer. I told him I was going with someone else due to price & told him how much others quoted. Then began the bidding war. We went back & forth for a while even after I told him my absolute highest price & "walked away" numerous times. He kept coming back. We finally landed on a number - which was still higher than others, but he assured me his team specialized in this type of assembly & that they were licensed/insured. Fast forward 1 month to Jan 7th - 2 days before my scheduled install. I reached out to Varojan to confirm we were still on bc there was news on every media outlet about severe weather for my area & most of the East Coast on the day of my OUTDOOR install. He assured me we were still on. OK, not my business. If he thinks we're good, we must be good. He knows best. Turns out he didn't know best. On the morning of my install, I receive a text from someone saying we need to reschedule due to weather. Duh. He also said he was "from the Angie app" - so am I to understand that my install was being outsourced & there's a chance my installer isn't experienced in my type of assembly & potentially also isn't licensed/insured? He wanted to rescheduled 4 days later, which also happened to be a day when another severe storm was expected. Since these guys don't account for the weather when booking, I informed him that a storm was rolling through & included a screenshot for validity. I never heard back. At this point I reach out to Varojan since he is not proactively reaching out to me. He carried on about the weather as the reason for the delay, blah blah. I get it. I knew they couldn't install in the rain, but when I reached out ahead of time he assured me we were still a-go. I finally get him to confirm a new day when it won't be raining. On the day of the rescheduled install 10:30am rolls around & I haven't seen or heard from anyone. I text Varojan & he says he'll reach out to the installer. An hour goes by & nothing. I reach out again. He tells me he can't get ahold of his installer. Another hour goes by. Still nothing. I reach out AGAIN. This is where he tries to guilt trip me by telling me that no one can reach the installer & they are worried he's been in an accident. If that ends up being the case, that's horrible & I'm terribly sorry. That said, I booked this over a month ago & they knew my deadline. Surely they have more than 1 installer. And why is he not texting me with these updates? It's now been 3 hours & no update.

I contacted Bluefiks to assemble a preconstructed gazebo. They were quick to respond and scheduling was easy and accommodating. Omid was our technician that assembled the gazebo, and he was wonderful! He was timely, friendly, thorough and precise. He was able to assemble this gazebo by himself with ease. I purchased a gazebo from Home Depot and hired BlueFiks for the assembly. They sent Omid who was prompt, he broke down my old gazebo, installed the new one and cleaned up all the packaging in 3.5 hours. I am very happy with my experience and would highly recommend them, I will be using them for future projects.
