Zero gravity has helped me to be more confident in my application and preparation for Uni. The wide variety of available masterclasses varying from uni talks to subject topic talks. They are super informative and extremely helpful. If you have any question someone will help you if not the main chat then a subject specific one. My mentor is super helpful and our weekly meetings are very informative and allows me to ask more questions about uni and especially my personal statement. The personal statement course was super helpful and is still one completed I felt more confident in writing it. I recommend to anyone struggling or unsure about university to apply to zero gravity as it will only be helpful and super rewarding.

Zero Gravity has been a brilliant platform. Although it did take a while for me to be matched with a mentor, I was really pleased with my initial mentor and they were fun to talk to as well as being informative. Unfortunately, my first mentor disappeared but I was rematched quickly and have made a good connection with my new tutor. Regarding the rest of the platform, it is quite easy to navigate, has good opportunities for webinars and workshops, and there is loads of help available from staff and they respond really quickly (the longest I have waited has been around a day and a half). I would definitely recommend people to use this platform as I have already received an offer from one of my choices and am eagerly awaiting the responses from others.

The flexibility of tutors and how they massively help

My experience as a mentor has been fantastic: although the pairing system could use some work (for example, as a French and Arabic student, I've been paired with Law and English students) but despite this, it is ultimately such a rewarding experience. Being a state schooler who used the platform, it's amazing that the platform continues to develop its outreach and size in order for me to pay forward my mentee experiences unto other less privileged students in the country, and the platform does so with regular updates and regular check-ins on both mentees and mentors to ensure a regular relationship that ensures a better chance for another state school pupil to change the system of certain universities' demographics.

I have had so much help and information given to me without having to pay anything which is great. I have a mentor called Jess who was a student at University doing my subject who has helped me prepare for some of my exams whilst also being a great person to talk to about anything academic. There are also other chat options where I can ask multiple people my question. I also enjoy the masterclass sessions especially by Matt Williams who has helped me in revising the TSA as well as soon some interview preparation. It is definitely something to at least give a go.

I was able to choose when I had mentoring sessions, how long each session would last and what I would cover with my mentor in each session. This made the mentoring sessions really flexible. The interactive forum also allowed me to see questions other people had that I may have also needed the answer to, it was a useful way to learn more about university.

Overall really helpful! Its great to have an insight into your course and university from someone who's already there and been through the process. Bonus points for the fact that its free and accessible!

The community groups are really helpful when looking for advice on many things regarding A-levels and University prep! I was able to gain very helpful tips on how to improve my personal statement and how to make UCAS application more competitive. I really love my mentor as she was really accommodating in helping me with my university admissions test prep.
