My experience with my zero gravity mentor has worked to change my outlook on university, and greatly aided in my application process which got me accepted into my firm and insurance universities. Through the aid of my tutor I was able to craft a stunning personal statement I never would have been able to create without his helpful advice and monitoring, in addition his useful knowledge of university living calmed any nerves that I had about studying and living away from home. All in all, the zero gravity experience was an experience I am truly greatly for, and I will use all of my knowledge gained to excell in university.

After watching a webinar hosted by Palmers Solicitors, my desire for a career in law was sparked as it highlighted how multidimensional law is in regards to the people you meet and the industries you can work with. Hence, when Zero Gravity gave me the opportunity to network with students who are as passionate as myself and are at the position I aspire to be at, it solidified my ambition and motivated me to work towards my law career goals. My mentor exposed me to the life as a law student (which never seemed to be a possibility before) and she assisted me massively when constructing my personal statement and with LNAT preparations. She comforted me throughout UCAS admissions, making the process exciting rather than daunting. Without Zero Gravity and my mentor I would have found applying for university extremely overwhelming as I had no family or friends who had gone to university to help me. Zero Gravity was a fundamental platform for me as it gave me easy access to opportunities and information, aiding my decision to continue onto higher education.

The best thing about Zero Gravity is that you control what you want the outcome to be. Whether it's choosing a degree, advice for activities to do for writing your personal statement or finalising it: you are in control. It's also a huge platform to meet people in different stages of their education from starting sixth form or college it university!

My experience of zero gravity is great because they have provided me lots of insights and opportunities in terms of subject or non-academic work experience, online sessions, forums and my mentor who has provided a lot of support and valuable information to shape me as better student in terms of critical thinking, creativity, analysing ,organisation, prioritising tasks etc. One thing that I would like to be improved is more opportunities for psychology

I was paired with a great mentor who helped me with applications for uni and engineering placements. He helped me practice for interviews and without his help I would have been lost. Zero gravity as a platform is nice. The only suggestion I can make is to offer more opportunities. The few opportunity alerts that I got were only finance related.

Having a mentor specifically assigned to assist me in achieving my goals provided a great experience. This was because my mentor is in a position which I aim to be at and through the Zero Gravity pairing system, it was the best match. The company's mentor-mentee pairing system is one of its strength aswell as providing a chat space where students can interact with one another including interactions with other mentors. Also, every week, the Zero Gravity team check up on the experience of each student suggesting that the success of the students truly is their priority.

Zero Gravity has done a great job at creating a community of young people aspiring to achieve great things. Students signing up to the program are encouraged to ask for help from older students and mentors to increase their chances of picking and being accepted into the right university / course. I really enjoyed this part as I felt like the organisation was working in my best interests at all times. The mentorship is also great, as you get to ask a university student (chosen specifically to be a student of your own preferred subject) things about the course you wish to join but also university life on general. It's a tremendous help! Besides this there's also the chance that you may be granted a bursary, if you are active and involved enough to be selected for the application process. Overall, I am very happy that I joined Zero Gravity and I think it has been greatly beneficial for me.

My experience with Zero gravity has been nothing short of amazing. Seeing the stories of other zero gravity candidates' trials and tribulations when navigating their future has largely contributed to the installation of a growth mindset within my character, that anything I so desire to achieve can be mine through hard work and faith. Lastly, during my time with Zero Gravity, I have had two mentors which has positively impacted the outlook of my future career. My first mentor Gavin spiked my passion for commercial law which since then has led to my passion for a future career in IP law, furthermore, Gavin's help regarding my personal statement largely contributed to my acceptance to the University of Warwick. My current mentor called Elizabeth has been nothing short of amazing. Our regular calls during my A - level period largely helped the stability of my mental health, Also our in-depth weekly conversations around news articles have widely led to the growth of my commercial knowledge which allowed me to excel and gain access to internships outside of zero gravity.

The platform is full of people who are 100% committed to helping you reach your dream University. The one-to-one mentoring made a huge difference to the quality of my application, from the personal statement to the entrance exam and interviews. The community will always work hard to answer any questions you have. I highly recommend you apply because it really does work!

The whole process is very thought provoking, also the fact my mentor is only 3 years older than me really helped us to communicate and understand each other, so progress was very efficient

As a year 12 student last summer, attending an economically deprived school, I found Zero Gravity and the mentor I was assigned, to be of invaluable assistance. She provided me with extensive support throughout all my university endeavours, primarily offering initial insight into the application process, requirements, and the right college choice within Cambridge. She assisted me in identifying my strenghts and weaknesses, as well as highlighted relevant experiences I had, to include in my application to display well roundedness. She provided me consistent feedback on my many personal statement drafts, further helping me refine my writing, ensuring that my statement effectively conveyed my motivations, relevant experiences, and aspirations. Earlier this year we worked through an entire textbook of past questions, to prepare me for my entrance exam. She particular guided me when encountering challenging questions. In these instances she broke down the steps for me to repeat in the exam, as well as provided me with strategic ways to tackle such questions whilst under time pressure. Without the support of Zero Gravity, I really don’t think I would’ve been able to get through such a rigorous process!

My experience with Zero Gravity has been very helpful and informative so far; I have been able to develop a great relationship with my mentor. They have been able to tell me more about life at university on a more personal level as well as offer practical advice. This has been very useful as no one in my family has attended university and therefore having this guidance when looking for universities has been helpful. We did some revision sessions towards exam season where we would plan and structure essays. I found this especially useful as I was having trouble with my essay writing and zero gravity allowed me to access direct help from a mentor with extensive knowledge in that area and provide direct feedback that would improve my skills.

My Zero Gravity mentor has been a huge help with both the academic side of applying to a highly competitive university, but also with my confidence that I will fit in and be able to succeed once I get there. Prior to starting my sessions with my mentor, I truly did not expect to receive an offer from my first choice university as I really did not see myself as the type of student they would want. My mentor has opened my eyes to the diversity of the student body at the University of Cambridge and encouraged me to work hard to achieve my goals regardless of my background. Her help with my personal statement was particularly valuable and our academic discussions about topics we are both interested in were extremely helpful in building up my confidence prior to my interview, which was a part of the application process that I was particularly hesitant about prior to engaging with the Zero Gravity programme. Whilst our sessions have definitely helped me with my application (which I am extremely grateful for), I have also really enjoyed the time we spent together as I have never had the opportunity to discuss my academic interests in an environment where I was challenged to elaborate on my arguments and defend my points in as much detail as I did with my mentor. I think that the discussions we had have certainly developed my debating skills and have prepared me to be an active member of the university community once I get there. I feel honoured to hold an offer for the same course, at the same college, at the same university as my mentor, something which I am almost certain I would not have achieved without her unwavering support.

Community function allows students to help support each other through final school years, masterclasses are extremely useful, easy to navigate, and cover wide range of topics, and the mentoring programme gives students 1 on 1 support for any and all issues they come across (whether that's UCAS related, about independent study, or just time management). Zero gravity has been a big help for me this year, and anyone who is doing their A-levels should definitely sign up because the extra support I have received has proved invaluable.
