I was looking for a specific type of cable (TA20) for my Garmin GPS which needs a traffic antenna in the cable. I had two bad experiences where I was sent cables advertised as "Genuine Garmin TA20" but they did not work and it was evident that they were counterfeit. Active GPS's cable came in a proper Garmin box and was not much more expensive than the counterfeit ones. Worked fine.

I recently purchased two Garmin products form ActiveGPS. I had contacted several companies whose websites claimed to have them in stock but once a phone call was made I heard many excuses and was told there were none in the country. I then spoke with Chris at ActiveGPS on Friday, who said he would find out and let me know. He came straight back with an update on the situation which looked touch and go for the following weekend as i had left it so late. To my surprise he kept me informed of his conversations with his main Garmin distributor, and pulled out all the stops to guarantee delivery by Thurs evening at the latest. I was very surprised to receive my products this morning (Tuesday) by courier, well wrapped in brown packaging with the genuine Garmin boxes and products safely inside. I can now fit these before the weekend and go sailing as planned. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting helpful, honest and professional customer service, the likes of which is becoming increasingly rare!

I contacted ActiveGPS to see if a road traffic information device from Garmin was compatible with my model of Garmin Sat Nav. Their reply was very quick, especially considering the holiday period. I was told it was compatible and so ordered it When it arrived, me being me, I wasn't sure how to connect it. I contacted their customer services and received prompt replies within a few minutes which solved the problem. (It was an obvious connection really but I hadn't noticed it !!). I must rate their service highly and would recommend them.

I bought a Road Angel Gem windscreen mount from this company. It was advertised as a genuine Road Angel product....what rubbish! It came in bubble wrap in a cardboard box..no official packaging at all, more like a second hand product from eBay. The swivel base the road angel sits on was loose with no way of tightening so the unit swivels round all over the place and then the magnet which holds the unitIin place fell off! I had to modify it using my dash mount which was not easy. All I can say is do NOT buy from this company cause it will more than likely be cheap substandard crap!

I ordered a Snooper device and requested next day delivery, order was easy and delivery prompt! Can't complain at all.
