I had closed my first reverse mortgage file with Bloom Finance Company Ltd. in December, and I was asked to provide a review, but I held off on providing that review as I was not sure if that first file experience was an anomaly... The process went so smoothly from start to finish; the interest rate and terms were favourable to the client, and, the file closed on time! That particular client was also very difficult to work with, which made everyone's job that more challenging. I just closed another reverse mortgage file with Bloom and once again, the experience was fantastic! The commitments are presented in terms that are easy to explain to senior homeowners, and the option to use a title closing company and one's own lawyer for the ILA portion also made it a seamless process. I have no hesitation in recommending Bloom to my clients and colleagues for their reverse mortgage needs!
