We chose Searchlight Surveyors due to researching through Rics and online reviews. As first time buyers we had never had a survey before and were going to go for the Level 3. Simon explained the surveys to us and that a Level 2 would suit our needs better. Being new to it all, he could have just charged us and carried out the more expensive survey but he was completely honest. We received the survey and it was extremely thorough with photos included. We showed it to family members who had been through surveys etc before and they were all impressed with how detailed it was. After the survey we had questions and Simon was just as responsive after the survey as he was when we first enquired. He was extremely helpful and explained in a way that we could understand. We will definitely use Simon again if we move in the future and we would definitely recommend him.

Very helpful when booking a survey. Good information on what was included in each type of survey, and what type of survey best suited the property being purchased. Surveyor telephoned me on the same day the survey took place to give me an outline of his finding, and reassure me that there were no significant issues. Full written survey report was submitted the day after the survey - clearly written and with photographs to assist with understanding of any issues.
