Went with Maki as they were a local Mauritian company and by far the lowest priced. Always a slight worry as at least with the big international companies you know what you are dealing with, but there was no need to be concerned, Maki were efficient, professional and very friendly, all members of the team. We had the car for a month and never had a single problem that they didn't deal with immediately. Would recommend them, and would happily use them again.

"Booking" the car was fairly easy, but actually getting the car took over an hour sitting on a bench outside the airport. These people seemed totally unprepared with none of the paperwork ready. As I said, it took over an hour just to fill the paperwork before making our way to the car. The car was not as clean inside as expected, bad stains all over the seats, and after a couple days was not running well. After a couple hours of arguing we finally got a better car, but not before trying to stick us with a worse car first. The 2nd car also had stains in the back seat, but drove well and we were very pleased with the 2nd car. Rent was a little high for the car/location. However the staff seemed quite friendly and were easily accessible by phone when needed. Drop-off at the airport went flawlessly.

We were staying at the new Centara Grand Azuri Resort & Spa in Mauritius and needed a car for 3 days in the middle of our holiday so didn't want to pick one up at the airport which most companies provided for. This was the only company where I could easily tailor the required period to suit us and get the car delivered and picked up from the hotel as the resort wasn't listed on other sites.

The car was very well kept and in very good conditions. Car was delivered to the airport and collect from there

very good and professional service at car pick up (somebody waiting with a poster bearing my name), seamless check of the car prior to departure, clean and good, GPS OK, just perfect. no clear instruction for the return, must call the hotline to get hints of where to find the guy for the car return. However all in all, I would warmly recommend the service to my freinds and relatives recommending they have a perfect script arranged for the return.

Not a new car, around 50k km on clock, but drove as good as new and good value for the price. The only issue to be aware of is the need to have 15,000 rupees in cash to give them as a deposit, which you get back when returning the car without any hassle. No cards accepted

We were in Mauritius for 10 days, we booked a car online which was waiting for us at the airport. Everything was as booked, the car model, the transmission and all agreed. The car was clean and comfortable also with gps. Were very happy with the service.

The delivery was on time, the vehicle was clean, the operator was friendly and explained in detail, a bonus was the free GPS. On the day we left we were met promptly at the airport and the experience was once again a good one.
