I have a couple orders with houseology still pending - there were delays with one item and I was notified of this by Lisa, who was very helpful and prompt with her replies. There was an error in the colour of an item with the first order, and it took a few days of chasing on my part to get a response from customer services but this has been rectified and the order should hopefully not be delayed. Overall impressed, hoping the items come through without any further delays!

This firm is all fur coat and no knickers! Pretends to be high end but a sham underneath I placed an order with this company. On the day they were meant to despatch I didnt get the usual email so called. Apparently my order hadnt been "allocated" on further investigating the last table in stock was damaged and did I want a refund or would i be happy with a reduced price. I wasnt happy with a reduced price and asked for a refund. On the 1st December I was told that I would get a refund. "Company policy" means it takes "UP TO" ten working days to process this. Finally after much chasing to their customer services I received my refund on 22nd Dec. I actually had no faith they were going to pay me back and had made enquiries from my credit card company on how to recover the funds. The only positive thing on my experience with this company was the lady who actually seemed to be the only one doing their job. Lisa in customer services replied promptly although I feel sorry for her cos the other departments are making this company very poor in terms of everything and her job must be a nightmare.

I was delighted to find some highly sought after items at exceptional sale prices, cheaper on Houseology than anywhere else. A computer glitch unfortunately caused the discount to be removed, so I tried to cancel the order. I was then telephoned by Jason Bowers in Customer Service, who sorted out the problem for me, took care of my concerns regarding restricted delivery access to my address and, since my items were on back order with the manufacturer, kept me updated via email of the progress of my purchase order throughout, which arrived weeks earlier than expected! ***ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE***

I had ordered a pair of lights from RV Astely through Houseology that unfortunately were faulty and had to be returned. Lisa H. was dealing with my case and i have to say she did a great job. She was very proffessional and kept me informed the whole time with phone calls and e-mails. She was so helpful and understanding, even when i missed the collection day she re-arranged that for me, no problem. Excellent customer service, many thanks.

We have been completely done over by this firm. My wife and I ordered a very expensive coffee table whereby the photos are clearly that of a table with a light oak colour, however, a dark walnut colour was delivered along with a sub-par quality of construction. They have not offered a workable option to return the item after many emails. I have now gone to my bank to get a refund and I shall be complaining to trading standards about their extremely questionable ethics. If I could give negative stars I would but sadly this option is not provided. I would not recommend this company in any way at all. It would be much better to approach retailers who will give you a decent and honest service. STAY AWAY!
