Their customer support team (specifically Lisa Gillespie) followed up every step of the way to ensure the product was delivered safely without damage. The light fitting is beautiful and it was very well packaged. Delivery was quick and the contact with the courier service was good. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

I also saw the product on offer from a mainstream supplier, but as I try to support individual, smaller companies I wrote a short email to them and not only did they match the price (Houseology was a tiny bit more expensive), but they also made sure the product was delivered in time and earlier than anticipated. Johanna phoned me and afterwards confirmed the details of our conversation via email. She was very polite, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The stool arrived professionally and securely packed and is already in use in my hallway and I am very happy with my purchase.

I ordered a bar from Houseology which was delivered with some damage and the way Lisa handled my complaint is a real credit to Houseology. My wife and I are expecting delivery of a dining table in a couple of weeks and I have no doubt, if there is a problem - Lisa will sort it out.

United Kingdom | 14 June 2019Terrible experience we ordered a pair of Chelsom wall lights with lamp shades which turned up late after I chased them up. The lamp shades were a special order as you can choose various items colours materials etc, they hadn’t turned up when they were supposed to once again I called and spoken to Tracey (sales staff member) again on this occasions she was even ruder than on the last occasion she said she would come back to be once again she didn’t I emailed Tracey and again nothing so I called on the Tuesday around four in the afternoon after emailing over the bank holiday weekend I was told she has had the weekend off and hadn’t seen my email yep another delay so after a email the following day I was informed that I had to pay another £45 for delivery for my shades which I had already chosen and paid for but they had made a mistake and so had to pay this as it’s a specialist delivery service as they are fragile lamp shades also that they aren’t making any money on this it’s cost price, I then get one pair of lamp shades not both including a invoice from the courier company for £15 this proves just how bad they are I have pics. So once again I email this occasion I send this to Tracey but copy in the customer service team and I get a very different response very polite and offer to refund £15 of the courier fee and once again I have to wait for what we ordered nine weeks ago. Tracey delivers terrible service I’m not sure if she has been untrained or the company simply doesn’t care but either way I wouldn’t steer clear unless you want to have to wait a long time and have the agreed price change at the last minute after already spending £766.50.

The way Houseology dealt with this issue could not have been more efficient or courteous. Lisa in the customer services team was helpful, polite, friendly and effective.

Courier now keeps giving me delivery days when I am at work and will not accept any dates when I am free, so continues to provide me with unsuitable dates...which simply suit them! Will probably have to cancel order as I will never get the table at this rate. Customer service very friendly but can’t help at all with delivery!!

As there was a 6-8 week lead time I had to email the company a couple of times to check on delivery date. Response was prompt and my lamps arrived extremely well packaged. They only lose a star as in the end I wasn't informed of a delivery date and they arrived unexpectedly. A very nice lady from customer service called me a couple of days later just to check that I had received them and that I was happy.

The mirror has also come damaged. The customer service have been very helpful however I am now very weary to order anything again from Houseology as everything I have ordered has come damaged. Please be aware when ordering from this website.
