United Kingdom | 21 November 2019Please do not order Anything from this company!!!! I am currently having a nightmare dealing with this company. I ordered 3 lights (Money taken from my account on The day of order) Only 1 light arrived. I didn’t open the box I assumed all lights were inside and had an electrician booked to fit the lights But had to send him away and pay him £100 because he was booked for the full day. after Over a week of trying to get through on the phone and sending emails that have been ignored I speak to someone who chases my query. I Then spend another week trying to get an answer (Same thing being ignored) to be told they don’t actually have anymore lights even though they charged me for Them all. A refund was apparently processed 3 weeks ago but I still havnt received any money and they are completely ignoring my many emails about the £100 that this mess has caused me. They now owe me around £800/£900 god knows if I will ever receive this.

United Kingdom | 08 November 2019A garden furniture set arrived damaged and Johanna could not have been more efficient, understanding or effective in her efforts to have this replaced. The address for delivery changed several times (as we had moved) and I had to bother her several times with changes to the schedule for re delivery. She also made sure that the supplier (Garden Trading) packaged the replacement set with extra layers for protection and it arrived in perfect condition. During a lot of toing and froing she never lost her cool and always kept her sense of humour. I am very impressed. Thank you!

I ordered a chair arrive 2 months after I ordered it, no where when ordering it did it say it would take this long. When I questioned it with one of their staff members she was very short with me and told me that I just had to wait! I waited and got a message on the 3rd October to say it was arriving on the 4th between 12pm -3pm but first I had to call them to confirm this time slot, which I did. I then waited in until 2.50 as I still had no chair so called the customer service number to confirm where it was as I needed to leave the house at 3pm. She told me that actually it’s an all day delivery ( so could actually arrive anytime due the day) I asked what the point was of the time slot then... she couldn’t answer me. I explained that I had waited in 3 hours and still no item and I needed to go out to be told that if I wasn’t in the house to sign for the parcel I was going to be charged an extra £36 + the cost of it being held at the depo... I have never heard of this before when I asked her about this her response was “it’s in our terms and conditions you should have read them” very rude. Finally I managed to get them to call the driver to deliver to a neighbour. I then had a call from the driver to say he was 40mins away ...When I arrived home there was no note to say where he had left it I had to call him back to find out his response was “ oh yeh it’s just next door”. I collected it from next door and it has been delivered in a kind of carrier bag that was completely opened how it was wasn’t damaged I will never know! I wouldn’t use them again!

United Kingdom | 02 October 2019We ordered a made to order dining table. We had confirmation this table would be delivered on a set day, therefore took unpaid time off. The courier company that houseology chose to use lied on the day, claiming “van failure” houseolgy directed us back to their courier company when complaining, in an attempt to evade their responsibility. We were refused the option to make a complaint to the delivery company and to the customer service staff (who lied and told us there was a booking problem, but the courier service cited a “van breakdown”) at houseology by staff member: Lisa Gillespie. They offered nothing in the way of apologies or remuneration. We were told they could deliver one week later, expecting myself to take a further unpaid day of leave, not even offering a rough delivery time. We were told that we could not cancel the order at this stage by Lisa, who cited it was “specially made” DESPITE failing to deliver it, apologise for wasting our time, and zero remuneration and only offering deliver one week later on an inconvenient day! Apparently the “CEO is looking into” it, according to Lisa...unlikely, given we were refused a refund, the option to make an apology or the ability to escalate passed her! AVOID ORDERING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! They are below standard. A low end store such as IKEA can employ staff to provide a better service! I CANT EVEN GET A REFUND FOR THE DINING TABLE THEY FAIL TO DELIVER!

Ireland | 04 September 2019Beware! These people will charge you 20% restocking fee if you return an item as a trade customer! Info in the small print only. Technically, for an item to be considered "a return" I have to receive it first, but I haven't, and they still charged me 20% of "restocking fee"! They were very fast to point out that I'll be charged 20% since the item can't be delivered to Ireland.

I contacted customer services and Alexandria was amazing, immediately opened an investigation and helped resolve my issue with a new glass fitting. Great service repeat customer definitely 👍

Avoid! they pretend to carry stock, take your money then email later to advise a delivery DATE will be given in 17 days?? i instantly told them to refund me but that takes 10 days!! the money came straight out of my account.....not many companies as bad as these left now so choose another retailer
