Beware of this dealer. I should have read the reviews before ordering. Unfortunately, even Trustpilot can't be trusted anymore. The happy customers of Chards Coin and Bullion Dealer are probably so happy because they're not real. I ordered Silver Britannia and got a message that the delivery would be delayed by 3-5 days. But after checking the status of my order, I found out that they were waiting for delivery at some point. They're just selling stuff they don't have. Very incorrect. I've tried to contact them but without success so far. If I can get in touch I will try to cancel the order and request a refund. I will write an update.

Very good prices at Chards, I like the website layout and the fact prices show vat included instead of calculating it at checkout. I feel the postage side of Chards needs more clarity, It cost me £6 which shows as fully insured and tracked, there's mention of delivery being next day although this is not clear on my order and no link for any tracking, I think the next day delivery mention should be taken off the site as Chards say they post within 2 days of cleared funds. That said, I have since ordered again from Chards as I have currently found their prices unbeatable and the longer delivery time than another supplier is a fair trade off to get these prices.

Ease of purchase.

Just bought another 7 of the "minty" full sovereigns from Chards. They are in perfect condition. Quick service with secure home delivery. Have bought from other dealers but Chards are always cheaper. Will only buy my gold from Chards in the future.

Ordered 2 coins yesterday and heard nothing back since initial emails confirming order and payment. Just been on the phone with them and will have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the hell is going on. As a result I will never buy anything from chards again.

Chards are getting more business and are very busy as they are slightly cheaper than all the rest of the dealers in the UK. Customers items are processed quickly, packed and posted out which in England is from a bygone era. A successful company with a well deserved record of excellent customer service.
