Indian Excursions Co provided us with a bespoke holiday around Rajasthan and Goa. The trip was memorable. We were utterly impressed with the advice and organization provided by Madeleine, Shiv and the team. Their advice on the tour design exceeded expectations and nothing was too much trouble in arranging hotels, tours, transport in India. dining etc during our stay. Fantastic hotel choices, drivers (available 24/7) and guides who were very friendly, knowledgeable and punctual without exception. Our tour took in New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai and finally Goa. Each stop offering unique and differing insights into India. The team were always available for advice or itinerary alterations during our trip and made it a magical fortnight. We would highly recommend Indian Excursions Co and would definitely use again.

Amazing Experience!! Amazing Service!! Would highly recommend this company to anyone travelling. My fiance and I are regular travelers and this was Best travel tour company we have ever used!

We worked with Maddie for months to craft the perfect itinerary - 18 days in Northern India - only to have our trip unfortunately cancelled a few days prior to departure due to Covid. Despite being unable to complete our journey, I have no doubt that it would have been incredible. Our communications with Maddie leading up to our cancellation and afterward were five star in every way. She worked diligently for months to help us with a refund and also provided all information we needed to try to appeal to travel insurance for additional refunds. All in all, our experience planning the trip was amazing and we hope to be able to go on it someday!

It was our first trip to India. Through the hard work and expertise of Madeleine, Shiv and team (and special shout out to Sanjay our fabulous driver) we had a perfect first trip to Rajasthan. We initially feared that some of the extra excursions, such as the dinners and dance performances were going to be tourist traps, but they turned out to be some our most memorable times in India. We recently took 3 weeks to visit Rajasthan. I knew nothing about India and when looking to book, had absolutely no idea where to start. Then I found Indian Excursions. For months, Madeleine talked me through various travel scenarios. Nothing was too much trouble. We changed our minds many times and she always responded with patience and more ideas. Once in India, Shiv could not have been more helpful. The 4 guides we had in the different cities were all extremely knowledgeable, helpful and good fun. Our driver, Daljeet, who stayed with us for the whole 3 weeks, was a wonderful, kind and funny man- we miss him! We both cannot recommend Indian Excursions highly enough. They responded immediately to all our whims (and there were many- last minute change of venues etc) and ensured we saw everything we should see whilst staying in the most amazing places. If you are planning a trip to Rajasthan- try speaking to them before you do anything. If we are ever lucky enough to return to India, we shall certainly call on their services again. Our two weeks experience in India coordinated and planned with Indian Excursions was the best decision for our first time in India. We have just come back from the most amazing 21 day trip from New Delhi to Mumbai and Rajasthan in between. It was the most effortless trip we have ever made. We are seasoned travellers and normally make all of our own travel arrangements, which enables us to get exactly what we want. However, felt somewhat daunted about doing this for India. I contacted one of the big UK tour operators to plan the trip but was very frustrated with what they suggested as it felt a bit too formulaic. Luckily, I found the wonderful Indian Excursions website which I found very informative and inspiring. Planning the itinerary with Madeleine was easy and she was extremely responsive on email. She quickly understood us and what we were interested in. I can honestly say that there is nothing that we would change now that we have completed the trip. The choice of hotels was fabulous; we had great rooms in every place. The itinerary was paced perfectly. The on the ground team made sure that we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Shiv met us on arrival and checked in regularly throughout the trip. The local reps and informative guides always appeared when they were supposed to. Everyone was very willing to adapt to changes along the way. Our wonderful driver Sanjay calmly negotiated the sometimes crazy traffic; seemed to magically appear whenever we needed him and took care of us every step of the way. It is the attention to detail that really sets this company apart. Do not hesitate to use this company for your Indian adventure!

A great big THANK YOU to India Excursions for making our India trip come to fruition.  Madeleine did a wonderful job putting everything together.  She accepts all suggestions and prepares an itinerary that fits your needs and wants.  The scheduled itinerary was well laid out and I was highly impressed how everything came together as planned.  Shiv and his team on the ground make everything run smoothly.  We were met at the airport with a warm greeting and after that everything ran like clockwork.  The one familiar face we came to know was our driver Ranjit.  He is definitely an experienced driver and I felt at ease with him behind the wheel.  The tour guides, young and old all varied and brought with them a unique perspective.  Indian hospitality is amazing and is something everyone should experience. I loved our time there and can't wait to return.  We couldn't have done it without an experienced group such as this so thank you again!

I was extremely impressed with Shiv and Madeleine from Indian Excursions. I would summarize their service in one sentence as "Excellent Attention to Detail." In terms of planning the itinerary, Madeleine was extremely attentive to our specific needs (in our case, we were attending India for a wedding and wanted to arrange our touring around several dates in which were required to be in certain cities. We spoke on the phone several times prior to the trip to ensure that not only was this accomplished, but that we tailored our trip to ensure success. For example, Madeleine paid attention to what part of Delhi one function was in, and organized our trip such that we were spared extra driving across the entire city! Another credit to Madeleine's attention to detail is that, for all travel, we had excellent seats arranged in *just* the right way. It was clear that every detail was thought out. Shiv on the ground was equally attentive to detail. Often times tour operators will say "call me any time," but Shiv made clear through his actions that he meant it. He made a point to meet us at all point of transfers, meeting us at the airport even though he could not entire the airport just to ensure that things were accounted for. Indian Excursions Co set themselves apart from the rest of the crowd when we first started to look into Indian tours. Response times to emails and the detail of the itinerary was of the highest order. This level of service continued throughout the experience which was extremely reassuring. We had an absolutely amazing tour. They took care of everything from the moment we arrived until they dropped us off at the airport. Our 24/7 driver was always there for us and made us feel safe as we explored the country. The guides were very knowledgable (almost to a fault). The car was very comfortable and the hotels ranged from good to spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in visiting India.
