Canada | 21 December 2024THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY ON EARTH, AFTER USING THE WATER HEATER FOR OVER 6 YEARS THEY GAVE ME A HARD TIME WITH THREATENING ME AND TOLD ME CANT SIMPLY MOVE TO ANOTHER COMPNIES AND TOLD I HAVE TO BUY THE WATER HEATER AFTER PAYING 66 DOLLARS A MONTH FOR OVER 6 YEARS AND NOW TRYING TO CONTACT THEM OVER 10 TIMES THEIR PHONE NUMBERS ARE FALSE IT DISCONNECT IMMEDTIELY AND NO CONTACT AT ALL THEY NEVER EVER DID NOT ONCE ANY SERVICE I CANT TELL ALL WHAT IN MY HEART AGAINST THEM THE WORSE EVER EVER PEOPLE AND COMPANIES THEY ARE SIMPLY THEIVES SITTING THERE EXTRACTING MONEY FROM PEOPLE NEW COMMER TO CANADA NOT KNOWING THE SYSTEM NEVER EVER TRUST THEM WORSE OF THE WORST

Had a water tank rental and after 8 months of calling 20times they would not transfer ownership when the house was sold and continued to debit my account. Escalation to mamagement went on deaf ears and would. It even give me the time of day to respond to my emails or phone calls!!

Canada | 25 October 2024Wish we could give 0 star for this company. We have had probably 30 calls over the last 4 years. Their manager promised if heat breaks down during winter, they provide hotel accommodation. Our heat broke down during Christmas for almost two weeks. We made several calls every day. They kept promising a call back from a manager BUT NO ONE CALLED BACK till now. Our hot water has temperature and pressure issues. Our Account Manager promised that he would with us and help resolve issues. It's been over a week. Despite several calls and emails, he's now hiding. We are stopping to pay effective immediately and will not pay until they resolve issues.

I had a leak in their hot water tank it took 3 weeks for them to replace it and a month later no hot water.. and it took days to chase them down to come and look at it…they should not be in business!!

Canada | 31 October 2023I got pulled into a 15 years water heater contract with Simply Green by purchasing a townhome from a developer. Was told nothing can be done in the first 10 years including option to upgrade to tankless heater or downsizing the heater. In order to get out of the contract, I have to essentially prepay all the monthly rental charges which is about 30% more expensive than what I paid for the rental water heater at my old house. Reps were not helpful, often being put on long hold and call was dropped after long wait. I requested talking to management. Rep said management was busy but would return call within 24 hours but no one called back after 4 days. There is an input form to submit request at their website which doesn't work. I don't understand why Ontario would allow such a company to continue to operate in this province.

What looked like a gov site was a scam, which we were not aware of until the woman at Simply Green told me I had no access to what the final amount would be. Why? I asked. She responded with... if clients knew how much they were paying, they'd never buy the products. A month later we get a notice from titles, a lien for $14,200, which was never discussed or agreed to. End of 2022 we paid already $12,000 for them to tell us we owe another $12,000! Plus they tried in 2022 to put another lien on the house for $28,000... for the same HVAC system! I phoned them repeatedly, never given a contact # or email for anyone... ever. Threatened with a lawyer and within a month they took it off. Seller's story line is same as everyone else. When that $15,000 is reached I am stopping payment at the bank. Have proof with bank records it was paid. Very Horrible!

Canada | 04 August 2023On June 14/23 we went into our branch to find out why $22.59 was debitted from our account every month, in error. Our Branch Manager contacted Simply Green and informed them it was the wrong account number. Contact was made by them to us, two days later. We were going to reimbursed $362.23 in two to three weeks. After contacting them five times, up to Aug. 3/23, we still haven't been mailed a refund cheque. We are always informed that a manager would be contacting us, but nothing has happened. Not Happy !

Canada | 12 June 2023First the water heater rental is way too expensive! Second, the tankless water heater stops working and I called them for service they promised someone will be at my home from 11am- 3pm but nobody showed up and our water was iced cold the whole day! When I followed up they hanged up! Then I kept calling and calling until finally someone answered my call and told me they are going to follow up with the service crew and I kept waiting and did not call me back again. So disappointing, bad services, very high rental and keeps increasing rent every year and I am screwed up for the 15 years rental contract I was fooled to sign! This is the biggest mistake in my life of all rental equipment I got in my house. Never go for this company for rental equipment! They don’t care much about their clients!!!

Canada | 25 February 2023They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Are unit hasn't worked properly now for 4 months. When you call in to complain they say they will sent the info to the proper person and no one calls you. They never call to give you an update after technician sends in report , so your never sure what is wrong, or when it will be fixed until you call and complain. They refuse to put you thru to supervisor or manager to try and get things sorted better. Very expensive compared to just buying system and having it installed. Do not recommend this company at all

Canada | 30 August 2022I sent a certified cheque to Ecohome Financial for $12,000 as buy out payment on a loan for installation of a heat pump and new furnace installed by a company in Kitchener.. Somehow the cheque ended up in Simply Green Home Services account. Ecohome Financial claim they hadn't recieved my cheque and have been taking out monthly payments. Despite many phone calls and printed proof of where the cheque was cashed from my bank, the issue still has not been resolved. It seems these two companies are connected, in fact the person I spoke to at Simply Green could see my account on Ecohome showing they are taking monthly payments at the same time see my $12,000 in their account. To me this is theft.....Don't trust either company

Canada | 18 August 2022If I could give it zero stars I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Our hot water tank started leaking and we were told they could replace it at no charge. After 2 days, they said they have no technicians in our city so they wanted us to source our own techs. We spoke with multiple companies but none will do the work and send the bill to Simply Green because they have not paid those bills in past deals. We are now 6 days later with water still leaking, a damaged basement and they want to charge me to end the contract 1 month early because I need to sign up with another company to get my hot water tank replaced. Repeatedly hung up on, not transferring our calls to the department they told us they were, lying about previous calls information. Stay far, far away from this company!!!!
