This was my 6th course with CTS (I've taken all three Excel courses plus the three retakes). I would highly recommend CTS to anyone needing to learn one of the programs they offer. I really like that they offer the free retakes to make sure things "stick" plus if you get a different instructor for the retake you often learn even more tips/tricks! I have had several instructors and they are all amazing. Very helpful and non-judgmental. They make sure everyone gets "it" before moving on. We even had someone taking the course remotely which is another great option if you are not able to physically get to one of their locations. I've been to both the Chicago and Naperville locations and both classrooms were set up well with satisfactory equipment and a good learning environment. I will definitely look to CTS when I need to learn a new program!

I thought you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks but I walked away thinking I can actually do this. The formulas which I thought were impossible to remember made so much more sense to me as we learned them.

Excellent class! My instructor, Karen did an awesome job in explaining and showing the best practices of both of my excel classes. I left out with a good understanding and how to tackle any excel project. I want to say hats off to Karen for being a great teacher!!!!

The class moves along at a good pace. The instructor, Karen, was excellent at answering questions and keeping the class moving. I was impressed at how much info we covered. She was able to answer all questions well and provide several ways of achieving the end result. I finally understand pivot tables!!

They are very professional and friendly, teachers are knowledgeable.

My experience was the training was very educational. The trainer was eager to help,She made she we understood what she was teaching. She explained things very well, and allowed us to ask questions.

Great all around experience provided by CTS, at both locations. However, I’d suggest the following improvements: - Help ensure that all classes are allowed to be recorded Since the instructors are not teaching their own proprietary coursework, I don’t really see the reason as to why some would be against having their class recorded and available to students for additional review. - Design the courses so that homework/assignments incorporate a majority of the course’s outline, so that students have a reference on how to gage their grasp of material, can ask specific questions about processes and techniques, and get a sense of what their learning looks like in practice - Set up an online system so that students have their own online CTS account where they can: 1. Manage and view their schedule 2. See how many classes have seats available at a give time 3. Self-select/register for classes 4. Access recorded sessions of previous classes attended - Help ensure that all classes that include a certification option, also include a portion at the end of the class dedicated to best practices in preparation for the certification exam.

The class was very informative, and Karen made it easier to follow and learn. A couple minor things that would make the class a little better. Room temperature was a bit warm, could have been due the season. The training books, are great, but if they were in color, would make it easier to follow outside the training class. Other than those two minor things, the class is well worth the money.

2nd time taking the class but with Jonathan it feels like the 1st time because he’s so thorough and teaches in an easier to understand format.

Very attentive and resourceful. Ability to identify the students needs to get a better understanding and promote confidence while taking in loads of information and studying /learning techniques.
