United Kingdom | 18 August 2024UPDATE: Was called by customer service to discuss my concerns. I believe they have taken my feedback on board and we have reached a mutually acceptable conclusion. Star rating amended to reflect that they accept that the delivery/packaging was not up to their expected standard. ORIGINAl REVIEW Customer service was not good. Offhand about delivery timescales. Nustone say you shouldn’t have trades start before delivery but also the slabs need to be inspected at the time of delivery and all damages reported within three days (providing you find some damage during that first inspection if you don’t but some of the hidden slabs are damaged tough luck) which are not compatible concepts. It’s impossible for a female customer to be lifting heavy slabs 900x600 to inspect at time of delivery and you only get a delivery date the day before and no time slot until essentially they are about to arrive when a time suddenly appears on the tracking so it’s very difficult to arrange for someone to be present to assist. The driver from a third party pallet network delivered and left immediately and refused to wait for anything to be looked at (Nustone claim they will wait 20 minutes after delivery for inspection which is a lie) so it was impossible for anyone to inspect. Delivery driver bashed edge of pallet into curb rather than lift it up enough (why he didn’t just raise the pallet truck up to place it directly on the curb - unhindered access from road rather than wheeling it about to try and go up a drop curb further along pavement is anyone’s best guess) and wouldn’t allow me to write any notes on his phone about the delivery - no physical paperwork available either. The two bullnosed slabs were stacked on top of other pallets and poorly wrapped despite an extra £85 charge for them being separate (this being more than the cost of the two slabs).

United Kingdom | 18 August 2024Ordered a sample which arrived quickly then ordered our tiles and the arrived within 3 days. There are a couple of chips on the edges but nothing too bad that want be used. Really heavy thick and look good quality.

United Kingdom | 18 August 2024Overall an excellent service. Communication good. Delivery was hoisted on to my drive. Made sure I checked slabs within first 3 days. From three crates only two out of 150 sandstone slabs (600x600) had small nicks on the side, which is not a problem. Very well packed.

Was told i could get the batch code i needed for 6 additional slabs to match my previous 2 pallets worth to then be told at final purchase they were no longer available to me. ordering split pallets to collect was a nightmare as site tried charging me a delivery fee. Also have received email confirmation of orders for other customers with their personal details on to my email. Customer service just told me was an OT glitch and they were looking into sorting it. to then receive a further 2 emails again about an order that wasn’t mine. in fact i’ve submitted this review from the email that was meant for other customer as i’m still receiving her emails!!! Hi Nustone team, in response to your response. As i said to your customer service manager on the phone. I was only able to complete my additional order after ringing your helpline on the 10/08 after no reply for 8 hours on that date on the online chat function. So my review of your chat function still stands as being appauling. I feel the delay lead to my requested batch being unavailable after being assured that it was available. Saying you offered a “gesture of goodwill” is not how i see my experience. Offering a handling fee refund ONLY IF i removed my Trustpilot review highlighting my issues, and the IT system error. was i feel a very poor attempt by yourselves to buy my silence to prevent other people being aware of the issues i had with your company. I feel people should know that you’re IT systems are susceptible to these “glitches” that result in there information being shared with other customers. Even after first highlighting the issue with you i still received emails aimed at the other customer. So i’m not sure you did ensure this hasn’t happened again to other people, or indeed myself. I even went as far as sending you the emails i received for someone else, post the initial “glitch” being brought to your attention. Yet you are saying you ensured i didn’t. Would you like me to send them again? Update 25/08, just had another email for someone else from your company. Your IT glitch and fix seems to still not be resolved!
