Sweden | 08 April 2025Min lägenhet har inblandat i en brand i Hisingsbacka och de står för utflyktning och sanering, processen har börjat i oktober månad 2024 men jag har inte fått alla mina heminredning hittils. Arbetsledaren som är ansvarig i området svarar inte när jag ringer. De står inte för det de lovar och göra, jag vet inte hur länge kommer och ta tid att processen tar slut. det har gått nästan 7 månader och de är inte klart än.

Sweden | 07 April 2025Det här är den värsta servicen jag någonsin upplevt. Det tog dem fyra månader att riva och delvis bygga om vårt badrum, och kaklet är fortfarande inte installerat! Ingen tydlig kommunikation, de svarar inte på telefon eller på våra mejl för att informera oss om när de kommer vara klara eller när arbetarna kommer. Mycket oprofessionellt, använd dem inte!

France | 31 March 2025Ayant travaillé pour cette entreprise plusieurs mois , entreprise mal honnête , que ce soit avec les salariés ainsi qu'avec les sinistrés fond du vole a l'assurance les assurances paye pour une prestation mais la direction n utilise pas less matériaux pour ces juste des bouts de ficelle tiré pour faire du cache misère . Les normes ne sont même pas respecté . Il vole les assurances en vendant des prestations que les personnes obtiendront pas . Si vous avez des travaux d assurance a effectué fuyez . D' un ancien salarié . De plus pour les personnes qui vont être embauchée il vont vous vendre un salaire correct mais vous allez bien vous faire avoir car cela est pas le cas ainsi que les retenues de demi journée sur salaire quand ça leurs chante bref des voleurs invétérée fuyez.

In particular we appreciated the masterful work of James who installed new sheet rock & required painting. His finished work is a remarkable example of customer satisfaction done by the Belfor Company & their exemplary group of professionals. It was a comfort.

United Kingdom | 04 March 2025A guy from Belfor came to take our bathroom floor samples for asbestos and they lost it somehow. They only let us knew about this once I called them as didn't hear from them for like a month. I know someone else also commented here about them loosing their asbestos sample. So this seems to be a regular thing. Why isn't Belfor doing anything about it? Why aren't you firing the individuals who are loosing important bits of work information. They are a dodgy company.

Canada | 28 February 2025On December 27th we experienced having a stove explode during self cleaning mode causing smoke and damage to our floor didn’t seem like a lot of damage. Our insurance company recommended Belfor and we’re glad that we did Corey Benjamin was our contact person and he was amazing getting everything resolved , his works were very polite and professional and all the other companies that came in he was there to make sure everything was done right. I was extremely impressed with Belfor and Corey I would recommend them anytime for any situation. Jim Konecny

United Kingdom | 09 January 2025Burst pipe 14th December 2022. Took 10 months to start work and 5 week job took 5 months! I had to contact CEO at Admiral to get work finished. Replacement wallpaper costs were between £10 and £20 per roll depending on who you dealt. They obviously taking too much work on and trying to finish other jobs first. Definitely not professional as work not up to standard. Wouldn’t let them decorate a dolls house. Admiral need to look into this company who is working on their behalf.

United States | 15 November 2024I wish the other reviews included the location. I'm in N. Myrtle Beach and Belfor's response has been exceptional. Our home is a total loss from a fire 10/22/24. The other company has been slow to respond and inept... I called Belfor since I really liked their representative at the time of the fire. Katherine called back the same day & had someone out of our home to review if anything was salvageable within 24 hours. Tim and Chuck were kind, thoughtful and transparent. We haven't decided who will rebuild our home but based on the responsiveness I've experienced we are considering Belfor for the full job.

Belgium | 14 November 2024Bonjour Je suis sinistrés de la "Tour Kennedy" à Liège l'incendie qui à toucher l'immeuble le 24 juin 2024 Nous avons pu avoir les premières visites le 8 et 9 octobre 2024 (très long) BELFOR et DAMAGE CONTROL sont unis exceptionnellement pour la tour étant donner le nombre d'appartement depuis le 8 et 9 octobre jusqu'à ce jour 14 novembre 2024 AUCUNE nouvelle concernant nos appartement pour le nettoyage. Je tiens à ajouter que des propriétaires on été confondu pour des locataires ainsi qu'a l'inverse quand au appartement 2 chambre qui ont été confondu pour des studios et des studios pour des appartements 1 ou 2 chambre. Beaucoup d'entre nous ne voulons plus ces deux société qui ont été mandaté par AXA. un vrai désastre et surtout manque d'organisation.

Canada | 31 October 20242 months ago we had a flood that did not cause a ton of damage cause we caught it quickly, but the flooring and cabinet box under the sink needs to be replaced. Our kitchen cupboards and cabinet has been emptied for well over a month and we had our turkey dinner on the patio table cause our dining room one is packed with kitchen stuff. ......2 months later we have NOW had the small area of drywall fixed...no idea if they even removed the old waterlogged insulation first.....we have been waiting 2 days for a simple white box with 3 sides to be built for the cabinet...and we have no idea when anything is going to happen due to poor communication. They are holding up the flooring company from coming to completely remove and replace the flooring and subfloor... This is who our insurance company uses and we can't believe why they would. Poor communication. We called at noon yesterday....no response back...called again at 9am and they will call back at noon....yeah right. This has caused so much stress on our family especially because my father passed away a year ago and he would have been able to make the repairs himself or find a local contractor to so it. We 'thought' we went with the best and easiest choice, but we were wrong.

United Kingdom | 16 October 20242 weeks ago today a representative from Belfor took a sample of our floor tiles to send off for an asbestos test following our house being flooded. We've been told today by our insurers that the representative forgot to post the sample then went on annual leave. I would like to give Belfor the opportunity to comment upon this.

Belgium | 25 September 2024Suite à un incendie, l'assurance a mandaté cette entreprise sans notre consentement. Les travaux ont été réalisés à moitié, il a fallu se battre pour qu'ils terminent le travail, qui, de toute façon, a été mal fait. J'ai dû moi-même nettoyer les pièces, car elles étaient pleines d'humidité et de moisissures, et l'une des chambres était envahie par des champignons. Pire encore : certains objets de valeur ont mystérieusement disparu pendant la période où nous avons dû être relogés. Ces objets étaient pourtant rangés dans des boîtes, que nous avons retrouvées vides en réaménageant... Si vous subissez un sinistre et qu'on vous propose cette entreprise, refusez fermement. Et si, comme nous, vous n'avez pas eu le choix, sécurisez tous vos objets de valeur.

Speaking to Leah today, I asked for someone to come fix a leaking pipe that they caused from removing my radiator. She was so dismissive and unhelpful. She then told me to get my home insurance to call but I asked what number should my insurance call to reach your department back on and she did not have any clue. That is so unprofessional and ridiculous.

United States | 18 August 2024Belfor of Tukwila recently remediated and restored my property. I had a massive flooding in the first floor of my house. They did an excellent job of dealing with all my concerns about what the flooding could've done to my house and the processes they used to properly remediate. They provided great customer service, especially in dealing with all my questions and concerns, so I felt confident my home was clean. Additionally, I had some initial issues with the project manager for the restoration part of the work. I called my sales person, Michael Markson, and he worked with me on the challenges I was having. Ultimately, Belfor replaced the project manager and made proper amends for lost time. There aren't many companies that will stand behind their work in that way and be fair about things. I also had a really challenging space to work with to set up a full kitchen in a way where I could maximize the counterspace. The Belfor team took a couple of hours brainstorming with me on how we could make it work. I really appreciate their expertise and their creative thinking! Very happy with the results. I highly recommend Belfor for remediation and restoration work, in particular, Michael, and their project manager, François.

United States | 10 August 2024Had rebuild project done and a year later, repairs and rebuild deteriorated contractor used subpar materials and incomplete or shoddy contractors used. NOT IMPRESSED! Took advantage of high costs to complete the rebuild, Used all custom-made doors, materials, hard to find replacement or costly replacement!

United Kingdom | 08 August 2024if i could give minus stars i would after my insurance deciding to use this company for the strip out and restoration technicians expertise it has been nothing but lies, cover ups, chasing, loss of paper work, muddles with other jobs, builders with no tools, builders from east london north london cambridge and other places turning up unannounced or not atall. simple builder stuff could be over looked but 3months later i'm still left with a wall that hasn't been surveyed yet has the fuse board attached to it, i have black mould from the incomplete strip out, i have electricians leaving wires dangling, shelves dangling from wires even, i have been lied to and cover after cover up and no honesty to the whole company as a whole worst thing is even after having to chase and cover every square inch of what they do and their many many faults too many to mention here .. i cannot make a complaint against them as they don't even have a complaints policy to follow and so it is referred back to the insurance company who will do NOTHING because Belfour are saying they're not responsible the level of incompetence is below what any company should ever be and how they get away with it is beyond me and beyond a joke!!! i have lost thoasands in warped doors not listed on the scopes, thoasands when told blatantly electric goods could not be reinstated as it would not be safe for them to do so and sign them off to them be told i wasn't told that!!! they don't get back to you, they don't care, this goes back to mid may it is now early august and they've washed their hands leaving me with dust dirt sawdust sand floor battons worn nails sticking up all over the place i've had to sort, just AWFUL!!
