United Kingdom | 01 August 2024Started dealing with BELFOR after water damage from a broken pipe whilst we were on holiday. I had to chase them myself every day for taking out flooring, dryers, asbestos tests, electricians, plumbers, builders, storage units. The list goes on. It’s been nothing but constantly being on the phone to them for one thing or another because they don’t keep you in the loop without you ringing them. Don’t get me wrong each tradesperson was lovely but headoffice should be keeping customers informed of works that are needing to be done etc. Wouldn’t be dealing with them in the future if I can help it, only dealing with them because my insurance company instructed them to do most the work.

United States | 16 July 2024After we contacted our insurance company about replacing the shingles on our roof, we immediately (45 mins later) had a phone call from Curtis Aiken with Belfor. He soon made a site visit and thereafter we made arrangments with a roofer. We live in a semi detached unit, and Belfor was able to help make arrangements such that the same roofer also did our shared neighbors roof. We heartily commend and recommend Belfor and their staff for professionalism and excellent service.

United Kingdom | 04 July 2024They take your money and then you don't hear from them for over 2 months.. I have been regularly chasing them via phone and email and they replied 2x saying they are waiting for the subcontractor to confirm glass delivery time... no word about whether they actually spoke to them on the phone or proof of their attempts to solve this situation since i can only speak to them and I paid them directly. Seems like a big scam and I am stuck with no money and no repair or update on the repair date. Check in advance in case your insurance company works with them and ask for another one.

United States | 30 May 2024My son recommended Belfor to me when a leak from the condo upstairs caused damage to my condo. He had them do repairs on his home and was extremely satisfied. The crew at Belfor are very professional and kind. They took what could have been a disastrous situation & repaired, replaced and made things better than they were before the flood. Every member of their team treated me as if I were their most important client they had. They even befriended my little dog & made sure to talk to him! In a situation where things could have turned out much different, Belfor made the whole experience pleasant!

Right from the start, we realized that we were very fortunate that our insurance company picked Belfor Barrie. John, Greg, Brad and Joe went out of their way to repair our house as painlessly as it could be under the circumstances. These men were very friendly, professional and skilled. They took the time and care to restore our house to the condition it was before the accident. We can not say enough good things about these guys. We could not have asked for a better team. Thank you John, Greg, Brad and Joe.

Spain | 24 May 2024Utter screaming nightmare dealing with this company who Sedgwick insurance instructed to deal with water damage that happened in my flat in November 2023. They arrived Feb 20th 2024, removed the bathroom floor tiles and other floor tiles in my tenanted flat and then just left. Still now in late May 2024 they've not been back since, they've done nothing except take weeks or months to respond to emails and even then with nothing whatsoever productive - just being absolutely ridiculous and provably dishonest on one occasion as well as very badly mannered with no concept of customer relations or customer service except in their marketing when it suits them. Have had to get the Ombudsman involved and my advice is avoid this company like the plague and don't get taken in by their advertising and pr marketing efforts. Go to the Ombudsman asap the minute things go wrong and don't be fooled by delay tactics and obfuscation. I haven't had this much stress and lost sleep in years. They simply do not care what they put people through.

United States | 29 April 2024then turned into a nightmare. We’ve waited over four months for things to be done and repairs to start and get every excuse why it hasn’t started. Every time they’d say they were coming we moved important Doctor-Specialist appointments to make ourselves available for them, then day of or etc they cancel and give us a different day to do it all over again. After well over 4 plus months we are told they aren’t doing any further work or repairs after they started water dry out-even though things aren’t complete as well as new damage to my home from them. It took them over four plus months to not even attempt to fix anything, mean while we’ve been not able to live in our home. The pictures are to show how house has been left opened for months and still is. I definitely would not recommend this Company at all. Even my neighbors asked what was taking them so long to fix everything. That this shouldn’t have taken more then a few weeks, even my adjuster stated this was going way longer then it should have been. That these kind of jobs shouldn’t have taken longer then a month max. Adjuster was fast getting things approved to move forward and this Company just continued to delay things. They knew we were stuck in a hotel with pets as well as Disabled. This is extremely saddening they’d do this to a Veteran and his Family. We are both on special diets due to medical and with out a place to cook or store food we were stuck ordering food daily or stuck with Hotel restaurant food. This is heartbreaking-sickening that a Company would do this to a Family and make it were they can’t be in there home. Then taking more then 4 plus months to state you aren’t finishing the job and make us try to find another Company that can fix the messes you made as well as complete your job. I wish this Company had never been to my home and disrupted our lives like they have. Water damage was heartbreaking enough then you put us through all of this is wrong in so many ways. 💔😢November 2023 to April 2024

United Kingdom | 11 April 2024incompetence, inept, they submitted an inaccurate report to McLarens Loss Adjuster UK and Zurich Insurance UK resulting in harassment from McLarens, Zurich, our management company Homes Property Management Ltd London W10. They also allegedly instructed my neigbour to reinstate a boiler that they knew was the source of 1 of the leaks, and allowed the leak to continue for 8 days, whilst falling to report the source of further leaks. Lies, Gas lighting, harassment, coercive control. Captured on my domestic CCTV. Year 2021, issues are ongoing Ref McLarens MUK.201255 and Zurich Ref: 20-50-436174. If I didn't have the CCTV footage, the gaslighting would be so much worst.

Ils font semblant et gagnent du temps . Si votre assurance vous les recommande. FUYEZ !!!! Faites travailler des gens honnêtes. Eux ne le sont pas.

In 4months journey with them to get a very small repair - I didnt receive a single phone call from their side and it was me who was keep calling them every other day to chase thing. As they work on behalf of insurance companies - they are simply interested in ripping off insurance company and causing stress to their customers. Please stay away from thsi company if you can. I am not given any plan of work. No survey arranged and they simply rely on different builders in their team to do temporary fix. Worst customer service team and very rude as well.

United Kingdom | 04 April 2024I can only presume from reading reviews on here some customers did not have the amazing team that I did. From the pre-work meeting with Patrick who explained the extent of the work required, time schedules and support in getting ready to the actual job which started exactly when he said it would. Dylan showed a work ethic that I had failed to see from any contractors involved previously (different company), done an amazing job taking down and replacing ceiling and even when he had time to spare (drying time etc) cracked on with other jobs and barely took a break and still wouldn't leave until he left every inch cleaner than when he started! James, the electrician ensured I suffered absolutely minimal disruption to power supply whilst setting about remedying issues going above and beyond to improve failings from original set up and turning up at the drop of a hat when required and Patrick completed the job repapering and painting taking into account changes he knew I was planning and again refused to leave until everything was cleaned away. The whole team were a pleasure to have in my home and all very friendly and respectful and advised I can easily call back if there are any problems, which I don't expect. Please don't tar the whole company with the one brush as we are all adults and know there are always some less than capable individuals employed across the board, as this takes away the credibility of the good guys. Belfor Scotland -hang on to this team, they are worth every penny!!

Refusing to take responsibility! The only plus side would be the refit team a guy called mark who was brilliant! The Rip out team useless! They are so unorganised

United States | 18 January 2024Our company had a contract with Belfor to complete work through an insurance claim dated Nov 2022 that to this day has not been completed. Because it was an insurance claim, Belfor has been paid in full for all work to be performed. As of a couple months ago, Belfor has stopped responding to my multiple emails and phone calls to have the work finished. I guess standard practice at Belfor is to take your money and run.

Une CATASTROPHE les finitions sont affreuses, ils ont même pas démonté les radiateurs électriques se pour peindre derrière, peinture qui déborde sur les fenêtres, meuble endommagé et sali, quand ils ont reposé les tringles à rideaux elles étaient trop basses et la fenêtre ne s'ouvrait même plus. Entreprise à fuir sans aucune hésitation Si vous chercher des artisans qui aiment le travail bien fait vous ne les trouverez pas ici.

They communicated with me and kept me updated every step of the way, the technician who came in to assess and then remove my furniture has been very professional. I read all these negative reviews when they were appointed, but I had a great experience with them.

United States | 30 October 2023BELFOR Property Restoration in Livonia. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They screwed us over so bad. Never do business with these incompetent people. They don't know what they're doing. And then they try and say that they do. But you have actual proof that they don't. We had a house fire in June and they ruined everything in our house when most of it could have been salvageable, but because of their lack of professionalism and they're lack of work ethic, they ruined basically everything we owned. Then, they have the nerve to put a lean on our house for a bill that was under $2000 when they ruined thousands of dollars of our stuff that WAS salvageable before THEY forgot about us. We tried to call and contact so many people that work here, including David McBride, but no one ever contacted back UNTIL they heard they were being fired. They let our house sit in SMOKE, WATER and MOLD for 2 months! 2 whole months of no work being done by them and no contact from them until they lost us as a job. Highly do not ever recommend this poorly ran company even if your life depended on it... The company we hired after we fired Belfor has done WAY more work in WAY less time than Belfor had. They did absolutely nothing other than a board up, and they didn't even board up our house properly.. Worst experience with a company ever. Especially when we were already going through so much losing our house and then, thanks to Belfor, all of our belongings as well... With no kind of apology or compensation for their negligence.
