I've used another company's payment plan that automatically gets put on a qualifying promotional plan with the initial charge. Contact from them is like with a regular credit card. With Scratchpay, I thought I was on a promo one but kept getting emails about needing to sign up for it by a certain date or would get charged interest. And I was on the auto-payment option, but the emails I got made it look like I needed to make the payment because of the large button with that wording, rather than one that reflected it was going to be paid automatically on X date. This company is helpful to manage a vet bill, but I wish my current vet took the other too.

This was great how fast and helpful it was when I needed it, the one thing I didn't like was not being able to set up an autopay that I could find (if there is one, it's not easy to find) for an interval that would give no interest. It was seemingly like trying to only get me to do a payment in a way where I would pay interest

In small print the loan expires in 30 days. So I used part of it to get the preop test done. The surgery couldnt be scheduled until more than 30 days when I applied. They closed my account and will not let me use the funds I was already approved for to get the surgery. So I wasted $1,200 on preop clearance and I now can’t get the surgery for my dog because they have some clause in their loan it has to be used within 30 days. Whats a mess. And they wont issue the remaining amount I was approved for in a new loan. Im stuck with a wasted preop clearance.

Dont even waste your time applying they suck me an my husband both have credit scores over 580 the only approve you if you make 100 to 200 thousand a year they only approve rich people

The approval process was quick and easy. The payments are reasonable and they offer a no interest option if paid by a certain time frame. They offer autopsy. And the payment process is super easy and user friendly! This was my third time utilizing Scratchpay.

My Vet recommended Scratchpay when I told them my Credit is bad. They said Scratchpay is 'Easier' to get. So, I tried...and was denied. And now my cat, whom I've had since he was a kitten...will suffer. He needs imaging done. I already owe $200, that I'm making payments on. This imaging will cost an additional $435. I am on a fixed income, and therefore can't afford these costs. And on top of all of this, I have to find a new home. Scratchpay's FAQ's say they are geared toward those with low Credit, but that's a lie. My lowest is just barely under 500, the rest is above. I've been with the same car company for 5yrs. Payments are always up to date and on time. This company didn't even take the time to ask questions. They just assume with a low credit, that I'd not pay or something, and denied me. I see that as discrimination. I contacted Scratchpay personally. They tell me because my credit score is too low they cannot help, yet they are supposed to be geared toward those with low or bad credit. I told them they need to change their FAQ's to reflect what they really do. Also, they don't do soft pulls on your credit, it is a hard pull despite what their FAQ's claim. If I can find a way to get them charged with discrimination, I shall be doing so.

Predatory lending at its finest. It was great to be able to get the loan to treat my cat but they make it difficult to pay off early. If you make extra payments it doesn't continue to take your scheduled payments, it marks them paid and moves your payment date to the next month. So you think you're getting ahead when infact you're not. I had to keep logging in and making the the scheduled payment since it wouldn't continue to take the payment. So pay attention if you're trying to do the 90 day plan!
