I bought the deodorant. Unfortunately it doesn't help to prevent the odor. The reason why I bought this product. I would not recommend it if you have strong odors. But I like the mission of the company. Also the reason I went for it.

I found the products expensive but I was hoping to be positively surprised when I received them. However, it didn't happened. The products are good (normal) but indeed too expensive.

Delivery was prompt. The tooth 'powder' is very good. I used to make own toothpaste with coconut oil and sodium bicarbonate, which worked brilliantly, but it was not very user friendly. Back to Basics powder solves all the problems and cleans in a similar way... Very thorough.

I ordered the Gift box; - Natural Olive Oil Soaps: are okay - powder toothpaste: used it a week: unpleasant taste and smell - the cream with shea butter: an impractical, crumbly chunk - powder deodorant: leaves white visible traces - Presentation leaflet and product explanation = in French, thanks for that, English would be handy; I'm sorry, but all together quite disappointing, especially the predominant olive oil smell

I received & tested the products from “Comme Avant”: tooth brushes, tooth powder, soap, deodorant. The tooth brush works fine (I have only used the one) but it is rather small; after I received it, I noticed that on the packaging it says “children’s tooth brush. The feel of a bamboo product while brushing takes some getting used to. Moreover, it lost a couple of its natural hairs while in use. That could be an anomaly but something to watch out for, however, it brushes just fine. The tooth powder also works fine. The packaging is not ideal for usage but then I cannot honestly think of ways to package it better. The deodorant comes in a container with the roller ball although it is actually a powder. I cannot judge it conclusively; I do use it but I don’t actually need a strong deodorant. In any case, so far so good. The soap is cylindrical, quite fatty, and unscented. It reminds me of the old Marseille soaps from a hundred years ago. It definitely takes some getting used to and is not really useful as a hand soap because it leaves a thin film of fat on your skin (coconut oil!). However, for that very reason it is very well suited as a body soap, especially when your skin tends to be dry (like most people’s legs in winter). Surprisingly, the dental powder and the deodorant are packaged in plastic containers. These are of good quality and could be used multiple times, but it is not clear whether you can order refills in a paper bag. The soap is wrapped in rough brown paper, the tooth brushes in a brown cardboard box. ADDENDUM I received feedback that what I thought was soap, is actually skin cream. A very silly mistake on my part. All the more so since I have been making my own hand cream for some time now and am pleased enough with my own product. As skin cream or hand cream the Comme Avant cylinder is a bit too hard for my taste; it is 33C outside and around 25C indoors, but the stick remains firm, much like a candle. If the beeswax contents were slightly reduced, this product would have greater viscosity.

I didn't notice substantial improvement inflammation wise and whiteness wise.
