Prompt response to initial request, arrived on time to conduct the survey and delivered report within a couple of days. Ryan was very polite and answered all my questions. I wish they had builders who covered our area, as would have felt very happy to give them the repair work too.

I have a large crack in the first floor bay ceiling caused by structural issues in my roof. I'd had 3 builders look at the issue and it was suggested by one that I get a SE. On meeting Walid I was struck by how friendly and helpful he was. However, once in the roof space together I was slightly concerned as he didn't seem to trust his own judgement when I pointed out what various builders had said could be issues and then solutions to my problem. He didn't instil me with confidence. I was asked to pay for the report before receiving it which as a professional is slightly shoddy practice. The meat of the report was short and the rest padded out with photos of my roof, crack and subsequent pointing issues which were already evident. The report was not specific or detailed enough and information that I could have obtained from any one of my builders. I had to ask him to provide drawings to give more detail which were returned as hand drawn sketches and frankly inadequate. I did approach Walid about my experience but he didn't feel there was anything else he could have done

Very quick report

I did a Google search for a competent structural engineer within the Harrow area. I was very pleased to read some of the 5 star reviews for Stabuild Limited. This prompted me to make a phone call and I was greeted by Walid, for an impromptu chat about my requirement. Walid was extremely warm, friendly and professionally experienced. I discussed some concerns I had that required a full structural survey and was keen on his investigative findings. I booked the survey without hesitation and was able to get a date booked immediately. The report was thorough and to high standard - alleviating any concerns I may have had about the superstructure of the property.
