Recently called there, and management refused to provide any information besides very general responses. Wanted to know if they could provide Master's degrees in the particular field I needed, and if so, how many. Female manager kept providing the same generalized response that they "could not provide any specifics on their tutors" unless I paid for a package. I explained that I was merely asking whether they had a pool of tutors in my area that could meet my very basic requirements. Each time, I was met with the same response: "We cannot provide any specifics on their tutors." When I informed her that I was not asking for any specifics aside from whether they even had tutors, she responded that she "couldn't provide anything more to the conversation without me buying a package." WHY would anyone buy a package if they can't even tell you if they can provide you tutors with a Master's degree? WHO would pay $1000's only to be told, "yeah, sorry, we don't have anyone that meets your needs, but we do have Bachelor's degrees if that works?" No. No, it doesn't. Literally the strangest, robotic phone call I've ever encountered. Comcast was more helpful.

I was struggling with Trigonometry when normally I make excellent grades. Jacob Capra was an excellent match. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I ended up with an A in the class. He also has a way of teaching that explains everything in easier terms for a learning student. Thank you Jacob and hey Tutor!!!

Biostatistics was extremely difficult for me. I was having a hard time finding a local tutor. I came across HeyTutor and they matched me up with a local Biostats tutor. If it wasn't for them, I would probably be using an online solution. Definitely using Heytutor next school year

I highly recommend HeyTutor. I needed help with the LSAT. Within a short amount of time... like 2 days, they linked me up with someone awesome.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICE TO ANYONE HeyTutor was supposed to find a perfect tutor for my College daughter, she needed help with college calculus. We had to pay 750 dollas upfront since the salesperson will not start looking for the tutor until they get payment for minimum of ten classes. They never found a tutor for my daughter. They gave her one contact after several E-Mails and phone calls. She never received any tutoring. After I called several times and told them that i wanted my money back or else I was reporting the incident with the Better Business Bureau, they gave me 600 dollars refund and they took 150 dollars for nothing since they never sent a tutor for my daughter and she never received any class. We absolutely cannot recommend HeyTutor.

Totally disappointed! They said HeyTutor will find a perfekt tutor for my 8 year old son, he just needs someone with experience in teaching second language kids or even just someone who helpes him learning English. We paid 1800 dollar, after second contact. Until today, no tutor or even a “match” for my 8 year old son. They gave me just one contact after several E-Mails, we never saw this mysterious woman named “Selma” or even got an appointment. After that expressing we want to have our money back, nobody answers! We have to talk to our lawyer now to get our money back. We absolutely cannot recommend HeyTutor.

Competent staff and well vetted tutors. A little pricey, but highly recommended if you're looking for top quality tutors. Its also in-person tutoring... super hard to find these days.

No issues what so ever with Heytutor . Seems like most of these negative reviews are issues with payment, rather than the quality of service. I've used Heytutor for around 3 years now, and they get it right every time.

Prafulla tutored my son in algebra 2. She was fantastic! She was really knowledgeable on the subject and as a result was able to present it in a very understandable way. I am so grateful that she was our tutor. I highly recommended her.

Horrible company. Take people’s money. Sucker people into purchasing over the phone. Employees (probably the owners since they are obviously a start-up) even send bullying comments on customers social media! Also they owe lots of tutors money. Stay AWAY from this unethical company.

1. Phone calls regarding service take days on end to return. I called them Monday and they said they would call me the same day but did not until I talked until Thursday. 2. Tutors are very underqualified and unreliable. We tried 2 tutors for my son and both did not know how to teach elementary school English. They always showed up late. They cannot attract enough tutors that one tutor had to travel 3 hours by public transportation to get to my house and always showed up late. A good tutoring service would be able to find a match for a tutor QUICKLY AND CONVENIENTLY, but they failed to do both. I do not recommend this service at all.

It was hard at first because I was matched with two horrible tutors that were just unbelievable. I was ready to get my money back and leave. But then the supervisor called me and talked me into a new great tutor who is Alex Mak, he tutors phyton. He is one of the best tutors out there and helped me out a lot. So you have to keep on trying and calling them always, and they will refund your money, and maybe you will find an excellent tutor through them, cause I did. It has its cons and pros, but I'm passing my class, and I'm happy.

THE BEST TUTORING COMPANY. In person, and online tutoring are both great options. My physics tutor is online while my calculus tutor is in person. Using them next year for sure!

I managed to dig myself out of this whole using Heytutor. Would def recommend to all students. Tutors are great, and the staff is super attentive.
