United Kingdom | 13 April 2022We recently ordered tiles from here and have been staggered by the complete lack of customer service. A company that is very quick to take your money, but very difficult to listen to the customer and be reasonable. I personally had to drive over 100 miles to pick up a box of tiles that was missing on our order (even the warehouse manager said mistakes can happen and was shocked when I said we weren’t offered a replacement box). Yes it was outside the 3 days, but does that mean we become liars because we didn’t mention it within 3 days? When our builder opened the boxes he immediately informed us. We’ve been met with a ‘rules are rules’ response, rather than respecting the customer. This is in complete contrast to a large bathroom retailer who didn’t hesitate to help us when we wanted to arrange something out of their terms and conditions. Why? Because they focus on customer service. Ca’Pietra have put a real sour taste in our mouths. I spent three hours driving, £70 in tiles and £40 in petrol to sort out their mistake. Shocking. We’ve tried to get any sort of compensation (or an apology), but it appears there’s a zero tolerance and just an attitude of telling us it’s our fault. Our builder has so many clients this year and we’ve said to stay clear of this brand. Such a shame.

They forgot to deliver some of our tiles and because we hadn't had time to check them immediately (due to undertaking a large job), they refused to deliver the missing tiles despite this being their mistake - even after us explaining that this was hugely costly for us as it delayed our contractors. We also had photographic evidence that we were missing tiles but they refused to go against their 'terms and conditions'. In a situation like this, surely common sense should prevail as it was a tiny cost to them to provide the tiles they missed but ended up costing a fortune for us - we ended up having to drive over 100 miles to collect another box and were expected to pay again despite having not received some of our original order. We are incredibly frustrated that a 'luxury' brand has treated us so poorly. They are, of course, beautiful tiles, but despite having friends/family/social media contacts ask where we got them, we will not be recommending them due to the way we've been treated. Pretty silly for Ca Pietra to refuse customer service over £77 when we could have provided a lot more business for them! We are truly furious as it has cost us a lot of money and additional stress during a built. We've received better customer service from Topps Tiles just buying grout! Unbelievable that there was zero flexibility. We've also had other issues with previous orders and after 40 days another company provided a full refund. Not sure what happened to customer service! So disappointed as we would have loved to use Ca' Pietra tiles for future work but won't now go near them.

United Kingdom | 12 January 2022Ca Pietra delivered 3 large pallets of the wrong tiles to my home address. Having asked for a parquet terracotta tile when speaking to their customer services, they instead delivered a rectangular version. I immediately spotted the incorrect tiles and so far Ca Pietra's response has been to deny any responsibility and say that the incorrect tiles can be laid in the same pattern. These are the wrong tiles! Ca Pietra don't stand behind their product and their customer service is non existent. They are happy to abandon their customer and leave them to sort out a problem which they have created. Their tiles are available from multiple suppliers. Do yourself a favour and do not order anything from this company; go elsewhere. They treat their customers with contempt.

At all times they have been very helpful and accurate in their replies to questions, never overcommitting even when there were supply delays on an item. This allowed us to plan properly around an issue that was not in their control. Special mention to the warehouse team. When I was in a hurry to get an extra lot of tiles of the same batch as had been previously delivered, they were really great, making calls to sort out everything so I could leave immediately with what I needed. There seems to be a feeling that everyone understands they are dealing with a customer and they deal really well. Thank you Ca’Pietra

However, I was two tiles short of the full project, and the company refused to send me two more tiles to complete it. I had to buy two more tiles and paid for postage and packaging myself. Considering the price of the tile initially I think they could’ve sent me two tiles free of charge.

The sales staff, especially Amber, were very responsive and helped me with stock levels, amounts and accessories (grout sealant etc). Products came well packed with instructions and information sheets. Delivery times are always difficult - when certain products weren’t available I discussed alternative options for my timeframes and we sorted out a solution. Don’t be afraid to telephone or email and speak to someone before and during your ordering it made a huge difference to my experience. I have used them again since my first purchase and will use them for a future purchase I will be making.
