Good product except for a £75 delivery charge and vat nearly doubled the initial cost....oh and no text to confirm arrival date and time,just 3 to 5 working days

Simple ordering process, , delivery was on time, delivery driver helped me offload.

The confirmation of order stated that I would receive an email 24 hours prior to delivery confirming the delivery date. It also stated that I would be contacted 1 hour before delivery. Neither of these happened & it was sheer luck that we were at home to receive. The driver was very helpful.

Would recommend to anyone. Swift communication and pulled out all the stops to get delivery date expedited.

After careful checking by two phone calls on expected delivery time, in order that I could be present to direct and receive the item, it was delivered much earlier than advised and left blocking the exit to her driveway, so my daughter could not move her car for an urgent appointment.

Abysmal We were told via email we would be informed of our delivery to our Cottage in Conway. Our next contact with BMD was a phone call from the driver who was at the Cottage in Wales.We were in Warrington! We rearranged the delivery with the driver for the following morning and met him at the Cottage. He opened the vehicle and revealed a broken pallet of the wrong product (OSB3 Boards instead of the plywood boards we ordered) which had slid about causing damage to the boards. The Driver and myself had to carry the 2440x600x18 boards about 100m to the Cottage as the fork lift truck was too large to cross over an access bridge. The vehicle was unable to turn round and had to be reversed about half a Mile back to a turning point causing damage to Oak trees along the way that have Preservation orders on them. This was carried out with my assistance. However the Driver did his best!

Products (plasterboard and insulation board) well priced and good communication for delivery. Didn't have plasterboard ordered but it was replaced with equivalent. Would order again.

It would be great if, like most companies, BMD send a message telling you the day they intend to deliver giving you min 24hours notice and then an approx time - 2 hours notice. I did receive an email and message at 1830 the previous day, advising that the product was on its way and I would be given 24/48 hours notice. When I called that morning, I was told they were on the drop off before ours- we were 70 mins away!! I am sure when driver is given the 2 day route , someone could advise the customer. My first time using this company & would like to use again but this may stop me if need products quickly. I also asked on the online chat about a couple of packs of jablite to return as wanted clarifcation for our customer but after the 2nd attemp with no reply , I gave up and now too late to return. Cusomer communication needs improving.

Before I ordered I phoned for some advice, very good customer service, placed my order online and received it when I was advised it would arrive. There were a couple of pieces missing from my order, a quick phone call and I was assured that the missing items would be delivered in two days time and good to their word they arrived two days later.
