Bought my first pick-up recently, a brand-new Mercedes Benz X-Class, and after being let down by the dealership I bought it from I had an Alpha Type-E canopy fitted to it at 4x4AT, and it looks fantastic. So glad I didn’t get the truck top I had ordered to start with, this one was cheaper and looks so much better. Thank you to Daniel for helping us.

I would be very careful in dealing with this company ,I had a canopy fitted by them on my Ranger through Jennings Ford in Middlesborough. The interior light stopped working and the central locking stopped working. I took it to my local Ford dealer to repair and it cost £135 ,i contacted 4 x 4 to obtain a refund for the repair .They requested a photo of the warranty sticker which luckily had not fallen off as then the warranty is invalid if it has , it should be plated and secured more firmly. They promised to send spare parts but they are somewhere in the land of don't care. My son has just bought a Ranger from the same place the canopy fitted from the some place. He is now getting the run around as canopy is not fitted correctly and is scuffed and trim on the bottom fallen away . So poor service and customer satisfaction all round . Buy with severe discretion check your goods are up to scratch or not as the case may be.

I had a soft tonneau cover fitted to my Nissan Navara at 4x4AT last week and it looks great. Really good customer service by Nicola on reception who looked after us, and we even got a free coffee! Thank you! Regards Mark

Phoned as interested in purchasing a canopy for my ford ranger. I tried ringing but no answer on a Friday at 11am. Tried again 15 minutes later and was told someone would ring me back. They didn’t. Phone again the following Monday and spoke to someone who clearly didn’t want to be at work that day. He was abrupt and didn’t really want to speak to me. I have now decided to go elsewhere. Do not bother with this company. Waste of time!!!

I bought an Aeroklas canopy for my 2017 Hilux which was advertised as 100% weatherproof. When I got home it took the first rain fall to see this was not the case. When I rang it was arranged to go back up to Leeming bar and they would re-seat the top. On arrival it was stated that it might not seal as I had a load liner with tops on ie over the tops of the tub. You have to bear in mind they fitted the canopy with the tops on and did not say anything regarding leaks ! Any way they did reseat the canopy. When the next rain came the leaks were MORE than they were initially so I rang again, and got the feeling they did not want to know, bearing in mind they already had my cash, The guy I spoke to said they were busy and he would ring back. He never rang back. Terrible customer service all things considered. Would not deal with these guys again. I have, since giving the above review been contacted by Rob from 4x4 who couldn't have been more helpful. We had a discussion regarding my leaking canopy and he is going to resolve it. Thanks very much to Rob and 4x4 for this it is much appreciated. Chris.

If you are thinking of buying from this company i would advise you to read this. In my eyes you judge a company not by when things go right but when things go wrong Bear in mind i am disabled from having a stroke i am partially paralysed on my left side and struggle to walk I ordered a new rear window for our pickup(which we use to transport my mobilty scooter around in) from this company. The parcel arrived on friday16/2/18 my husband was at work at the time The parcel did not appear to be damaged so i signed for it Bear in mind it was impossible for me to check it throughly because of my disabilty When my husband arrived home he decided to open the parcel on saturday because he had to cook our tea and tidy up On opening the parcel we found the corner of the window was broken so we immediately phoned 4x4at to report this, they asked us to send send them photos of the damage which we did and they would deal with it On the following Tuesday we recieved an email saying that they had been in touch with tuffnels and things did not look promising On the Friday i emailed 4x4at to say that it was their problem as i have a contract with them and would they make arrangments to pick the parcel up as the window was not fit for purpose and supply me with a new window I heard nothing from them for a week so i decided to phone them to find out what was going on, they said to leave it with them. A few minutes later we recieved an email saying that as i had not checked the parcel at the point of delivery they would not be replacing the window. I had told 4x4at when the order was phoned in that i was disabled ,and my husband told them when we phoned them to report the damage that i was disabled I would like 4x4at to tell me how some one with my condition can carry and open the parcel that measures 5ft x3ft and weighting 11kgs In my honest opinion i think they are just trying to get out of their responsibilities to sesolve this problem. It looks like i will have to resort to legal action to resolve this problem It will also be thinking of bringing a case of disabilty discrimination

I ordered an Aeroklas canopy and some small items for my Ford Ranger it arrived on time and the guys in the office even bundled the smaller items into the canopy to save on delivery. Truck looks great with all the kit on. Will definitely use again for some more parts cheers guys.

Ordered a bonnet protector for my NP300 which arrived badly scratched, Emailed Customer services on 18th FEB who requested a photo Sent Photo on 19th Feb NO RESPONSE Sent Email chasing up on 25th Feb NO RESPONSE Sent Email on 3rd Mar threatening contacting credit card and received response stating i was to send it back out of my own pocket. Sent further email requesting they arrange pick up, NO RESPONSE UNTIL THIS REVIEW WAS POSTED. Said they will send a replacement, Demanded that review was removed, Replacement sent, Was out of the country so never got round to editing review, Received multiple emails hassling me about this review, They seem interested now, shame they weren't when they were needed and i doubt they would have resolved my issue had i not posted this, Went on to buy over £3000 worth of accessories from a competitor, their loss! So in the end it was resolved But as a conclusion PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ARROGANT RESPONSE TO POSTING REVIEW, AVOID

company sells items that do not fit your vehicle. only offer returns at your own cost of postage then only refund a partial refund.

I bought and had fit an Alpha type e hardtop on my ranger wildtrak 2014. Firstly the top is an excellent bit of kit not the cheapest but certainly in my opinion one of the best in both quality and looks. It was fitted and adjusted very happy with service and product. Thanks and would recommend both the company and the hardtop.

I got 4x4at to install a roll n lock cover and supply and install a over bar onto my new 2012 hilux there was a problem with the roll and lock but it was out of warranty but 4x4at fixed it for me any way thanks a lot great service
