Do not deal with this company. We had a terrible experience, and we are being penalized. We sent our pay stubs to the employee that was handling our loan, in addition to other people, and no one put them in when they should. We are being penalized for this. We have had a horrible experience, as everyone is blaming each other, and we still have not figured this.

Everything was very smooth, from the initial explanation to the new roof being installed and then our panels! Clean and quick, couldn't ask for better service.

The rates are good, the process is relatively simple, and the tech stack is nicely complete. My issue stems from the fact that they fund your loan when you confirm a milestone of installation - not when the system is approved by the city, not when the installation is approved by the client, not when its connected to PG&E. Once the loan funds, how is a borrower/client supposed to get the installer to complete their closing QC? The only response I received was "In terms of the funding, these conditions are part of the loan agreement and were also included in the welcome call you completed." Interesting that Sungage reserves the right to fund their loan if they determine that the project is completed - thats spelled out in the contract - regardless of the borrowers view. Yes, they give you a nice delay in the initial payment to make sure that you are all connected prior to the first payment, but it doesn't change the fact that their funding process favors the installer. Be aware! Triple check your contract! Don't approve installation until you are 100% final!
