I bought a cheap printer from the hip website which was to be delivered in 3 days. Took over a week, found out after I bought it it was out of stock. When it got here I set it up and signed up for instant ink. That done it began printing. It printed its serial number and product number. Then it printed a manual of some sort. Then it printed a page, looked like it might contain instructions but it was in German so who knows. I’m now 5 pages into my instant ink allowance so I thought I’d increase it. Went into the app, incidentally it appears that you have to sign in to the app every single time you hit a button. After getting ‘thank you for waiting’ then timing out a few times I tried the virtual assistant. I got stuck in a loop, I had to pick my printer model from a list that didn’t include it. I was then directed to an exact copy of the manual that came with the printer. (There is also the option to sign in to the hp website and wade through thousands of pages to find the solution, signing in every 3 clicks). I gave the serial number of my printer - not recognised - so I went back to the hp website, signed in again, registered the printer then gave up and went to bed. Tried again today, got the phone number after signing in three times to the website, tried calling until the call timed out then sent a WhatsApp message. No reply so far. Current advice is to clean the nozzle of my brand new printer that has only printed a few pages, most of which I didn’t ask for, speak to the virtual assistant, tried that and it’s a mistake I won’t make again, ring them which is valid but there’s no answer. Anyway, the first printed page was a bit blurry and grey rather than black, it looks like the result of injecting that cheap generic ink into the cartridges of your kids printer to save money, by page no 8 it was patchy, bits missing so blurry it looked psychedelic, it’s ironic that I bought this printer because my old one was printing badly, threw it out thinking this one would be here in three days, had no printer for a over a week and I now have a worse one than when I started! If it had got here on time I could have hooked the old one out of the wheelie bin. It’s supposed to print photo’s but I barely recognise my own language, when I see it. I don’t have one good thing to say; print quality, shocking, customer service, shocking, app functionality, shocking, ease of use, shocking, product info, shocking. I can’t even get hold of anyone to send it back! Never again!

I wish there was something like 0 star. 1 start is too much. HP sucks you in with all these offers to make your printing experiences pleasurable and you only notice all the cracks when you need assistance or when using their HP smart app. Now I'm loaded with ink cartridges that I cannot use cos I closed my account and they are claiming all the monthly payments I was making was for customer support. Meaning what? They were giving me ink for FREE??? If this is the case they shouldn't call it an ink account. It is very misleading and they KNOW they do that just to lure customers in!!!!

Hp is great apart from now having a call center in the Philippines who by the way are as thick as they come, I mean they are pretty stupid, this may not sound very nice but its how I feel about them, they can never resolve real issues, they never understand what you say when speaking in plain English, they are very unhelpful, I don't see the point in highering them, o wait I know because it's very cheap, Hp I would have given you fives stars if it wasn't for this part of your customer service, just stick with the call center in Romania as they do provide good customer service most of the time, some good customer service from the Philippines but it's very rear.

I bought an HP OfficeJet 3835 from Argos last week for £49. I followed the instructions carefully and got it online and downloaded the printer driver, but it would only print in black and white. I got my IT guy to fix it - that took 2 hours and he charged me £50-!! That was all very unsatisfactory.

This is my first experience in trying to get support for my Office jet pro 8024 printer. I paid for the extended 3 year full monty warranty support and was given a unique tel number for thosw clients who had thwe care pack. Not so this number is for anyone. Scanner packed up big time making the most alimight gear graunching noises eventually with an error message to say that the scanner was damaged and to contact HP Easy---very much not. After some 25 minutes TRYING to get the number dialed answered I eventuall navigated my way through countless options to get to speak to a human being. She was very nice but her accent was difficult to totally understand but I tried and eventually she agreed to send a replacement. From then on all seemed ok except the informed delivery was out by 4 days. However when the replacement arrived it had a diiferent model number (no problem really) but the serial number was different to my old one and when I checked the warranty status it told be that It had expired so obviously the replacement had been a repaired unit at some time. All my care pack documents had the old model and serial number and there was no way that I could find to get the new details added. I have just challenged the warranty details to see if that resolves the problem as I have over 2 years warranty left on my subscription. So far I have spent about 1.5 hours or so trying to get all the problems sorted. As I have a care package I do not consider this acceptable and will never buy another HP printer again

How can we thank both Alex and Michelle today? 5 stars do not fully reflect the brilliant support we received to enable us to use our HP Envy printer. They were so charming, knowledgeable, and were extremely patient with a luddite, like me! What a pleasant experience, despite our issue. If only all companies were as efficient as HP in their support centres. They are not blaming Covid for long waiting times like the Government!! Congratulations HP and keep it up!!

HP has to be the worst firm I have ever dealt with. Chromebook not working told I had damaged it ehich I most certainly did not. Sent to company who ssent back with letter saying repaired and they hope I was pleased. Chromebook exactly as when I sent to them. Issue compounded when next morning follow up phone call saying they hoped pleased with repair. Even escalation dept worse than useless. Would never deal with again and collecting data from people who have had same problem where told self inflicted.

I brought a HP Deskjet 2710 All in One Printer from a shop yesterday. I was trying to set it up. I downloaded the app that you have to have and it wouldn't work. I looked for a telephone number and found nothing. I got hold of the WhatsApp number and told the support my problem and not had a response from them yet. Apparently the blue WiFi light shouldn't be flashing and if it was I followed everything the online guys said and it still didn't solve the problem. I've been waiting for the support to reply to my WhatsApp message for a few hours. I'm now at the stage where I will return my printer to the shop I purchased it from and will get my money back as the printer is unfit for purpose and will buy another printer from another supplier that cares about their customers and will talk to you. I've had 3 or 4 HP Printers in my time and this has finished me buying HP. I will never buy HP again.

Ordered a printer. Delayed order, doesn't connect, ink provided with the printer and it doesn't work. Called customer services, couldn't be fixed, they were extremely rude, huffing and puffing over the phone.

Had my Deskjet Printer since Feb. So far I’ve wasted 3 ink cartridges and endless pieces of decent paper to different methods to try and get the printer working. Tried the printer doctor online. Tried FAQs. Tried the online chat. Absolutely nothing and nobody has been able to assist and to be quite honest, I just wish I was within the returns policy with Curry’s but I’m sure they are glad to be rid. Every attempt to get the printer online fails however it can obviously print to print out the stacks of useless instructions! Avoid at all costs unless you have the patience of a saint and nothing else to do for the rest of your days... shocking experience so far

I bought a new HP printer on April. It came up with the setting ink cartridges which as we all know have much less ink than the normal and subscribed on the instant ink services immediately on the 11th of April. The reason that I have bought a printer is to help me with the schoolwork of my daughter during schools closing. After 2 weeks and checking daily the website there was still no tracking number to my delivery. I was trying since the 24th of April to find an agent to talk live about my issue but always the virtual agent refused to forward my inquire to a live assistant. Finally, today I have managed to contact HP customer service, where they informed me that there will not be any shipment of ink at least till mid-May... Outrageous! In my question how am I gonna find ink till that time they only could offer me a month's free subscription to the service... Thanks HP but the printer needs ink print definitely a negative experience...
