Belgium | 19 April 2025I ordered saddlebags with mounting hardware for a Harley-Davidson and paid via instant bank transfer. Immediately after payment, I received an email from Motea confirming the receipt of the payment and informing me that the order would be delivered between April 11th and 16th, 2025. On April 15th, I called the French Motea number and was told that, because I had paid via bank transfer, I needed to wait a bit longer and that my order would be shipped that day. I received a tracking number and was informed that DPD would be the courier. On April 18th, I contacted DPD in both Germany and Belgium to check the status of my shipment. After a long search, DPD finally located my parcel but told me that Motea had only informed them that a package would be ready for pickup — without providing any shipment details — and had not yet confirmed when DPD should collect it for delivery to me. To make things worse, the customer service representative I spoke with at Motea was extremely rude and unprofessional — even outright disrespectful. I felt like I was being treated as if I were a nuisance and was told, in so many words, to "shut up and wait at home" without asking questions. So basically: "You paid, now stay quiet." What a way to treat a customer. Impressive how your company trains such "friendly" employees. Today is April 19th, 2025, and the status of my order is still completely unclear. Fantastic. This feels like a classic case of misleading and deceiving the customer. I’m convinced that even if my order eventually arrives, there will be something wrong with it. What a complete failure.

Netherlands | 11 April 2025Tassen voor motor gekocht; buddyseat bag en rugzak. Producten redelijk snel geleverd, maar bij ontvangst toch een iets wat ander beeld erbij dan online. Rugzak was stuk lomper dan verwacht en kwaliteit oogt minder in het echt. De buddyseat tas geprobeerd te mounten op de motor maar geen duidelijke omschrijving hoe je dit beste kan doen. Alle online beschrijving was ook matig. Kers op de spreekwoordelijke irritatie taart is dat het leren lipje ter bescherming van je motor tegen de strap bij eerste plaatsing afscheurde. En probeer nu al op verschillende manieren te reclameren maar noch een werken telefoonnummer, e-mail adres, of online webpagina waar je terecht kan. Zeer slechte after-service tot dusver. Ga nu alles retour sturen en wacht wel af of het geld retour komt. Kwestie van ouderwetse goedkoop is duurkoop. Hier koop ik nooit meer als ze zo met klanten omgaan.

Germany | 10 April 2025Kennzeichenhalter für die MT-03 passt vorne und hinten nicht. Viel zu kleines Montage Teil. Trotz dessen ist es in der Beschreibung für die MT-03 ausgeschildert. Versand dauerte 10 Tage. Da kann Motea nichts für, da sie es schnell verpackten, aber dann wäre ein anderes Versandunternehmen empfehlenswert (das Paket lag 4-5 Tage in einem DPD Lager gemäß Versandverfolgung)

De product informatie om de website van Motea en in de google Motea geeft te kennen dat ze passen op de Honda Rebel cmx 1100 2021-2024. Volstrekte onjuiste productinformatie. Ik vraag een billijke oplossing en men verschuilt zich achter de retourneringsperiode. Mijn emails tot oplossing heb ik ter beschikking. Betreuringswaardige behandeling van een motea klant

United Kingdom | 04 April 2025Charged £56 from UPS import taxes, on top of the purchased item. When I called MOTEA they said it was BREXIT and they "didn't receive the money". I still have to pay it though! I was sent a screenshot of the payment screen, which states, "You have to pay 25% taxes." This only appears at the very last screen, when you click the PayPal button. It is easily missed when doing price comparisons. MOTEA, if you are reading this, you should make it clear from the outset what the price the customer will pay is. The Customer service rep at MOTEA hung up on me (I was polite). MOTEA did say I could send the item back but UPS told me I am still liable for the import tax. So thanks MOTEA for a poor buying experience. Update 14.04.25: Thanks to MOTEA for the reply below. However I did not see clear notification of these significant additional charges. Yes there is a note on the very last page citing "25% taxes... please pay in cash". This is is small red text. Nothing is written on the actual product page we all look at when doing price comparisons. I realise these taxes are outside Motea's control. But if selling into the Uk market I believe you have a responsibility to make the true cost to thr customer clear. Other reviews on this site suggest the true cost is not clear.

United Kingdom | 04 April 2025One star rating. Ordered sissy bar and rack, came without screws for fitment. Asked them to send me screws and they stated that they could not. Which is useless. Offered return and replace for the full unit, however this would have meant paying import tax again. Settled on getting £15 refund to go and try to source correct Allen screws myself somewhere. I have to say, very poor customer service from this company and snippy and unhelpful communication. I would avoid using again at all costs.

Après mon premier achat d'un pont elevateur ciseaux ConStands dont le verin était mort à la reception,j'achète un topcase ainsi que le support pour fixer à la moto.A ma grande surprise,à la reception,les vis pour fixer le topcase au support ne sont pas comprises.Lors d'un coup de fil passé,on me dit de façon brutale que le client doit se débrouiller pour les trouver car pas en vente chez eux.Tout cela juste avant de se faire raccrocher au nez!!! Scandaleux!!!
