Being a DIY repair I didn't expect miracles but no matter what I try, the repair stands out like a sore thumb. Layer build up works well so you can't feel the repair but the final pearl coat just looks ridiculous.

This stuff is useless. Nothing like how it's advertised and they will not refund you. Order it at your peril unless you want to ruin your car.

Applied the chip ex kit as per the instructions but it did not repair the scratches.

Excellent product, really happy with the results. It's not going to give you a perfect finish, nothing will unless it's a full panel respray. But the finish is the best you can expect from a touch up paint. Would highly recommend.

So thought I would try Chipex paint repair system for the first time. I did take a little longer then they suggested but the result was outstanding. Definitely better than the old paint pen approach.

Didn't have the paint colour I needed. Have a feeling they only stock popular colours, if you've got a slightly rare OEM colour probably don't waste your time. Have since found another site, that lists everything they have on their website so you know they can make it. Did get a refund.

The ladies at Banbury we’re fantastic. I needed some touch up paint for my classic Morgan. The colour was no longer listed Deep Brunswick Green. They went out of their way to find the colour and recommended the right kit. The paint is spot on and the device was brilliant

The product is not so easy to use as advertised. It is also a tiny pot of airfix size paint that is hard to smooth, and not a great match. As long as your not after anything near perfection this expensive bodge might work. Its certainly not worth the £40 for what you get and the finish you acheive.

This is the 2nd car I've used chipex on, I had some damage caused by stone chips and a mobile windscreen fitter. The repair is never going to be as good as a full respray but it's almost as good and when you compare the cost it's a no brainer. Thanks again 👍

I bought this and gave it a huge task to try to disguise a large chip/crazing on the front bumper. I knew it would never be invisible, but it turned out better than I expected and was very easy to use. Very impressed.

Paint repair kit... £43 paint coming on a bottle, suppose to use a brush?!? to paint my bumper. What about a spray can?!?

The information on the website is very misleading. When I received the product the instructions were written in the tiniest typeface which is barely readable. The English is also incredibly poor. But most if all the procedure is very complicated and includes lots of caveats. I quickly realised this is not a product I can use. I will make a total mess of my car. I tried to return the product but they refused. They argued that the product is specific to each car; this is a lie. Yes the tiny paint pot is specific to the car but the rest of it is not. Ipso facto they could refund the bulk of my purchase while retaining a small amount to cover the paint (of course they can resell that anyway).

Chipex is an expensive touch up paint. Unfortunately the colour match I received was extremely poor and could be spotted at several metres as several shades too dark.

The product was easy to use and the instructions were very clear. The end result was a remarkable difference even on two deep chips. Just a little patience and using layers to fill the chip and you can hardly tell. I would highly recommend.

Arrived quickly and had very clear instructions. I tried it on my Boxster S and was really pleased with the results. It is a black car and the match is brilliant.

I purchased Chipex on a recommendation from a close friend. The package arrived and contained everything you need to touch up stone chips, scratches, etc. Very detailed instruction leaflet and the FAQ's were excellent. As with other reviews the key is waiting enough time for the paint to dry, if not you just remove it when applying the blending solution. I would recommend Chipex to anyone and well worth the money
