Chicken and mushroom pie was not up to the standard I get from meat and potato &meat. The crust was soggy and appeared undercooked even after 25 minutes at 180°C. The vanillas were great and survived the journey well.

Online ordering system was fairly easy to navigate. Cost was what I would have expected for similar elsewhere. Absolutely loved the finished design! Everything according to my requirements. Delivered as promised and very timely. Cake was received well and tasted lovely. Thank you so much for making a very special birthday!

Very impressed with goods and service would highly recommend.

As my Mum was from Burnley ( but I now live in Dorset) I thought I'd try some proper north-country pies by post. 'Lancashire pasty' was mostly mashed potato. 'Steak & Kidney pie' tasted ok but had few meaty bits and, looking at the ingredients list, these lumps were probably textured soya protein. The pastry made with lard was good, the seasoning was good . . . but the value is poor. Bought in your shops at £1.60, fine . . . but at £2.65 by post NOT good value. Your website is good, your delivery reliable. I defrosted the plastic bags with ice in and, when emptied of water, they make excellent sandwich bags ! I've since ordered Cornish pasties from Cornwall by post, at the same price, and they are much, MUCH better than your Lancashire pasty. Oh-well . . . never mind . . . we learn by experience :)

Excellent service, pies excellent as usual.

The cake was no where near as nice as previous ones we have had, the cream in the middle tasted off, and the sponge was dry. Half of it went in the bin as no one wanted to eat it. Shame really.
