Returned to CEX in Dublin City centre and the staff member was being a bit of a jerk. Returned the product anyway and got a refund in about 4 days. Don’t buy, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with buying gadgets from CEX either

Ireland | 29 December 2024CEX IPhone 15 Review - Grade A This is my review after having the IPhone 15 blue version 128GB after 1 week. Firstly I have to say I think the shipping was good. Since I had a strong preference for the blue appearance of the phone over the rest of the colours I was holding out until it came back in stock, as soon as it did, I ordered it and had it 3 days after. This was faster than expected. I chose for the phone to be in Grade A condition and it arrived without a single scratch or mark. I was very impressed. It was practically new. I am with Vodafone so since the IPhone was unlocked I had no issues transferring the SIM from my prior phone. I was also slightly concerned about transferring my information from Android to IPhone but thankfully there was no issues there either, it was all very smooth. Lastly, I checked the battery capacity and cycle count of the phone only to be amazed that there were no prior charges and 100% capacity. It runs very smoothly and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I will definitely be buying from CEX again, I can’t recommend it enough. As of writing this review I have not encountered a single problem.

Email arrived saying item now not in stock but will be shipped when comes into stock but if I would like, I can cancel. I requested item to be cancelled. Request received and confirmed so I bought similar item online expecting a refund from CeX. No response, then CeX item arrives in post. That's my experience with CeX. It will be my last experience with CeX

Ireland | 29 December 2024Honestly have to say I'm very disappointed in the service from Cex over the past few years. It used to be great. I can't tell you how many times I have been into a cex store to get something that said it was available online only for the staff to tell me that they don't have it in stock. This literally happened to me today. When this happens they also don't seem to take it off the system either which is very confusing. I have brought back games a few times that were faulty only for them to be relisted in the store that I went to return them to. That is obviously unacceptable. I'm a loyal customer to cex and have been for years but these are two issues that really need to be looked into. I'm sure if I'm given any sort of reply it will be generic and more than likely unhelpful but as one would should I say.

However when I opened it on Christmas eve to get it ready for my son (it was his Santa present) it was absolutely filthy and the 2 controllers are NOT in good condition. I spent almost an hour trying to clean the unit so that my son would have a decent present from Santa. I am extremely unhappy. I have pictures of the the dirt that came off the unit. And it's honestly shocking.
