The first order was a bit late and one item was omitted, however when I contacted them they replied promptly and sent out the missing fabric immediately. I have found them courteous and helpful. Will use again. Good range of fabrics and helpful staff.

United Kingdom | 24 June 2020I too have ordered twice now from OhSewCrafty.co.uk. And echoing another customer "KE" recent comments back in Sep 2019 and must stress that situation has not improved much since either. Here's what you can expect: - VERY LATE & incomplete delivery around 10 days on both of the orders; - Both times emailed me a few days later into the orders that some items were "Out of stock" and offered alternatives (though at the time of ordering online, there was stock available) One would have thought their stock level matches between their online computer as well as physical stock; - even when alternatives were suggested with an immediate reply, it still took them another 2-3 days to respond to you (if you are so lucky); - Required repeated emails reminding the outstanding orders or queries that need addressing. The usual response "Due to working with skeleton staff, and an overwhelming volume of orders..." ; - Cut the wrong colour fabric, but refused to accept responsibility and denied incorrect packing, even after being shown requested photographic proof (between White and Ivory - from previous order) & insisting "Our currently stock of Ivory is quite light..." The new delivered fabric is blatantly WHITE!; - Insisted on the "correct" fabric being picked and because of that, I have to pay for the return postage for a full refund. I have given them the opportunity to make amend on what I firmly believe is their mistake in picking the wrong fabric. Yet they insisted that the "white" they sent is the new "Ivory" (with the lame excuse that it is lighter) What a total nonsense if I am being honest. A simple apology, perhaps offer the opportunity to keep the fabric with a discount as gesture of goodwill would not hurt their wallet at all. It appears to me that they are NOT interested in an amicable solution nor encourage returning customer. Bad decision. So stay away from "Oh Sew Crafty" at all cost!

United Kingdom | 12 June 2020I don't recommend Oh Sew Crafty.. I lost my time and my money. I placed an order on 21 May. Today is 12 June. I didn't received my items. I tried to contact them few times and after few days of waiting I get an aswer :"oh.. the items should reached you by now" ... The order wasn't marked at Dispached.. Shameeee Oh sew crafty. ( if you are not able to manage everything, limit your order.. but dont take people's money and after that you never answer)

I've been making masks to keep busy in lockdown and have placed multiple orders, all of which have arrived promptly, usually before the expected date. Zoe dealt with the confusion over an incorrect colour being sent quickly and easily. A great shopping experience.

United Kingdom | 11 May 2020I cannot rate this company highly enough. I have been using them for a few years now and my order has arrived within days. Yes sometime they contact you to say fabric is out of stock and give choice of a refund, credit or pick an alternative fabric. I have always found the fabric to be excellent quality and cheaper than elsewhere. Re the other comments about out of stock fabric: surely you have to appreciate that with on line ordering this is going to be inevitable at times, not just with this company but others as well.

United Kingdom | 13 March 2020Absolutely shocking service. I ordered two pieces of fabric, but received an email saying that one was not in stock. I agreed just to accept what they did have & purchased the other fabric elsewhere. However, the material actually sent was what they had told me was out of stock & not what I now required. It was also 1 metre shorter than I had paid for. On phoning the company, they accepted that they had made mistakes & I asked to be sent the correct material. Even though at this stage I had overpaid for what had been delivered & now have material, which was of no use to me, they were unwilling to rectify their mistakes without first being in possession of the incorrect material, thereby creating further delays. So their policy was for the customer to be further inconvenienced, even though it was their mistakes. Most disconcerting was speaking to someone who was said to be a manger. He was good at talking, but not listening. I asked several times if I could be given the opportunity to speak without constant interruptions, but to no avail – he just talked over me & then very rudely put the phone down. The conclusion is that I have overpaid for a product that I no longer have a use for. Given the managers attitude, it gives me little confidence that the matter will be resolved, even if I do return the incorrect fabric. I have leaned from my experience not to deal with this business again.

United Kingdom | 18 February 2020I ordered some fabric, Oh Sew Crafty took the money from my bank. The following day I got an email to say the fabric was no longer in stock. I went back on their website and it was still showing as in stock but at a higher price than what I had paid, clearly they did still have the fabric in stock, they just didn't want to sell it to me at the price I had paid so broke their contract with me. I asked for them to send the same fabric but in a different colour but they refused even though under their Terms and Conditions it states "Where appropriate, you may be required to select the required [size] [model] [colour] [number] [other features] of the Goods that you are purchasing". Shocking customer services. DO NOT USE.

Here's what you can expect: - VERY LATE & incomplete delivery 10 days on the 1st, 11 days & counting for the 2nd; - Both times emailed me the orders had been 'Shipped', then actually held up the entire orders waiting for items on 'Backorder' that were actually 'sold out'; - Simply 'forgot' several items, implied I had missed them, then again took several days to attempt to fulfil; - Refused to send anything by overnight courier to make up for lost time; - Required repeated prodding to issue a refund, when I refused to accept an unwanted substitute; - Cut the wrong colour fabric, but refused to accept responsibility, even after being shown requested photographic proof (had a correct sample) & admitting the colour looked wrong; - 'Supervisor' repeatedly changed her story about who did what & when, blaming unnamed 'management', the manufacturer, team staff ("We're a small team of 3" Really?), IT, policies, terms of a Royal Mail contract...; - Insisted on shipping out very late items after I was forced to cancel--I could wait no longer & had to buy elsewhere (at a higher price)--refusing refund of goods or postage. WARNING: Sometimes a 'bargain' just isn't worth it, especially when it comes with unreliable service--'service' that turns somewhat nasty if you try to exercise your statutory rights. Note also that some of this conduct is likely in breach of the Consumer Protection Against Unfair Trading Regulations 2008!
